Middle East - Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio named 2017 Premium Performance Sedan in the annual ArabWheels awards

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has won yet another prestigious award, scooping the title of 2017 Premium Performance Sedan in the annual ArabWheels awards which are presented by ArabWheels' media platforms - magazine, website, apps, web TV and e-news - to recognise and acknowledge the latest and greatest of the automotive world.

Roberta Zerbi, Head of the Alfa Romeo Brand, received the award at a special ceremony held at the Meydan Hotel, one of Dubai's most prestigious landmarks and the venue for Dubai's annual World Cup horse race.

To be eligible for the ArabWheels Awards, a vehicle must be all-new or significantly facelifted and have been on sale prior to the announcement of the nominated vehicles. The awards are decided upon by a combination of 50% jury member votes and 50% online voting by readers.

The judging panel comprised three prominent automotive journalists from the Middle East - Hisham Sakr (Customization and Supercar Specialist at MILCAR), Nabil Moustafa (Managing Partner of Xclusive SARL for Automotive Events), and Issam Eid (Editor in Chief of ArabWheels) - all of whom have extensive regional expertise, to ensure the integrity and credibility of the awards, which focus on excellence and innovation.

Fitted with the powerful 510 horsepower, all aluminium V6 2.9-litre bi-turbo petrol engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, Giulia Quadrifoglio guarantees thrilling performance: a top speed of 307 km/h, 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds and maximum torque of 600 Nm.
