Stellantis annuncia un progetto innovativo per l’E-Car, un’auto elettrica, compatta ed economicamente accessibile

AMSTERDAM, 19 maggio 2026 – Stellantis annuncia il lancio dell’innovativo progetto E-car, per un’auto elettrica compatta ed economicamente accessibile. L’uscita delle prime E-Car dalle linee di produzione è prevista nel 2028.
La “E” di E-Car sta per Europea, Emozione, Elettrica ed Ecosostenibile. Questo segmento ad alto potenziale, destinato a essere prodotto in Europa per il mercato interno, è stato riconosciuto dalla Commissione Europea per la sua capacità di sostenere l’occupazione nel settore del design e della produzione. Al tempo stesso, svolge un ruolo chiave nel favorire una più ampia diffusione dei veicoli 100% elettrici, supportando una mobilità urbana comoda, e orientata all’uso quotidiano.
L’E-Car è un veicolo di piccole dimensioni, innovativo, economicamente accessibile e completamente elettrico che viene sviluppato nella più autentica tradizione europea della “mobilità per tutti”, in risposta alla contrazione senza precedenti del segmento delle vetture di piccole dimensioni a prezzi accessibili in Europa negli ultimi anni. È l’espressione perfetta dello scopo di Stellantis di “consentire alle persone di muoversi con i brand e i prodotti che amano e di cui si fidano”.
Il CEO di Stellantis, Antonio Filosa, ha commentato: “L’E-Car rappresenta un concetto profondamente radicato nel DNA europeo di Stellantis, in continuità con la tradizione di successo delle vetture compatte. I clienti chiedono il ritorno di auto di piccole dimensioni dal design distintivo, prodotte con orgoglio in Europa, accessibili ed ecologiche. Stellantis risponde a questa richiesta con modelli entusiasmanti per diversi brand. L’inizio della produzione è previsto nel 2028 nel nostro stabilimento di Pomigliano”.
Con l’assegnazione dell’E-Car a Pomigliano – e la prospettiva di volumi produttivi significativi – Stellantis valorizza la lunga tradizione dello stabilimento nella produzione di alcune delle vetture più iconiche e accessibili d’Europa, tra cui l’amatissima Fiat Panda.
I modelli E-Car di Stellantis si distingueranno per un design all’avanguardia e saranno dotati di tecnologie BEV di livello mondiale, sviluppate in collaborazione con partner selezionati per garantire maggiore accessibilità economica e accelerarne il time-to-market.
