To Pass on Full Benefit of GST Reduction to Customers
Chennai, 10th September 2025: Citroën India today announced that it will fully pass on the benefits of the recent GST reduction to customers across its entire portfolio, effective 22nd September 2025, when the revised rates come into force. Coming on the back of an extremely competitive launch price of the Basalt X and C3X range, the new GST structure rationalizing taxes across passenger vehicles, will see substantial price drops across all Citroën models:
- C3 and C3X: up to ₹84,000 lower, starting at just ₹4.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Aircross SUV: up to ₹50,000 lower across 5- and 7-seater variants.
- Basalt and Basalt X: Bold, Comfortable, Connected, and Safe with CARA# Citroen In-car assistant on board, the new GST adjusted prices starts at ₹7.95 lakhs (ex-showroom)
- C5 Aircross SUV: savings of nearly ₹2.7 lakh, with the Shine variant now at ₹37.32 lakh (ex-showroom).
Making the announcement, Kumar Priyesh, Director-Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said:

At Citroën, we remain committed to supporting this initiative by ensuring our customers enjoy the complete benefit of this reduction. By passing on the savings in full, we aim to make our vehicles more accessible across segments, while encouraging new buyers and accelerating adoption during the festive season.”
