German motorists have ranked the FIAT 500 top in a "Vehicle Owner Satisfaction Study" conducted by leading market research agency, J. D. Power and Associates. The drivers of more than 17,000 vehicles, bought during or prior to 2009, took part in the online survey, rating their ownership experience across 67 different areas within four main categories: Vehicle appeal (32 percent); Quality and Reliability (26 percent); Running Costs (22 percent) and Dealership Experience (20 percent). With a total score of almost 82 percent in the "city car" category, FIAT 500 topped a segment that has traditionally been dominated by German and Japanese models, highlighting the consistently high quality standards of Fiat products and the strides being made by FIAT Group Automobiles to improve customer service and the performance of its dealer network.
