Fiat 500 Matt Black Launched in Ireland

Only a handful of Limited Edition Matt Black models available in Ireland Available in Sport specification with TwinAir power only Priced at just €16,445 the exotic Matt Black finish costs no more than metallic paint

While the Fiat 500 Pink caused a stir amongst the female community, the latest limited-edition version of Fiat's popular city car is really more of a boy's toy. Just 200 examples of the Fiat 500 Matt Black will be made in right-hand drive with only a handful destined for Irish shores.
Stealthy and mysterious, the Fiat 500 Matt Black is the first vehicle in this segment to offer this special paint finish, and while other car companies charge thousands for such a look the Matt Black finish on this limited-availability Fiat 500 no more expensive than ordinary metallic paint. To maximise the impact of the Matt Black paint, the mirrors, moulding and door handles have a satin chrome finish while the 16-inch alloy wheels are painted in matching matt black with a contrasting red coach-line to underscore the car's sporting spirit.
In Ireland the Fiat 500 Matt Black model is only available in Sport specification powered by Fiat's award-winning, 85hp, two-cylinder TwinAir engine, which is more than just the cleanest mass-produced petrol engine in the world (CO2 emissions of 95g/km in manual form) - it's also the most distinctive and rev-happy engine in its class. With MultiAir valve technology and a high-tech turbocharger the TwinAir-powered Matt Black punches way above its weight in terms of performance but, because it tips the scales at just 85kg, the TwinAir engine also helps keep the handling as nimble and entertaining as possible.
The Matt Black model comes equipped with sport seats, a sports suspension, air conditioning, Start&Stop, a gearshift indicator, hill-holder, traction control, a leather steering wheel and seven airbags as standard and is priced at just €16,445.
