Chrysler 300C Pricing Announced for Ireland

Chrysler Ireland has announced pricing of the new Chrysler 300C executive saloon. Two versions will be available, both powered by the high-power version of Chrysler's new 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine which produces 239hp and 550Nm of torque. Developed by Fiat Powertrain and VM Motori, this advanced engine is equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission as standard and strikes an impressive balance of performance (0-100km/h in 7.8s, 230km/h), fuel efficiency (7.1L/100km) and emissions (CO₂ 185g/km).

In addition to its all-new bodywork and unabashed American style, the 2012 Chrysler 300C also benefits from extensively retuned multi-link suspensions (front and rear) and a revised steering system engineered for a more precise and satisfying drive in combination with considerably improved levels of quietness and refinement. Inside, the Chrysler 300C's completely new cabin is finished with luxurious new materials and in keeping with Chrysler tradition, standard equipment is exceptionally high.

Just some of the impressive luxuries fitted as standard to the entry-level Limited version include full leather trim with power-adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats; 18-inch alloy wheels; a power adjustable and heated steering wheel; auto-dimming and power-folding door mirrors; dual-zone climate control; "Keyless Go" with driver memory functions; cruise control; a power-operated boot-lid and even heated and cooled cup-holders. A particular highlight is Uconnect® Touch, a touch-screen infotainment system which boasts a 30GB Hard Drive, Bluetooth connectivity with music streaming, a DAB receiver and integrated Garmin satellite navigation, which is also standard across the range.

The top Executive model adds a premium speaker system; two-tone Nappa leather trim with a leather-covered dashboard; a dual-pane, panoramic electric sunroof (largest-in-class) and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Standard safety features across the range include advanced ESP (incorporating both brake pre-fill and brake-disc drying systems); adaptive bi-xenon "Smartbeam" headlamps; Active Pedestrian Protection (pop-up bonnet); a reversing camera with Cross Path Detection and a total of nine airbags, including a drivers' knee airbag and rear side airbags. The top Limited version adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Mitigation and Blind Spot Detection, advanced features which cost thousands extra on rival models. Unsurprisingly, the Chrysler 300C was awarded a five-star EuroNCAP rating according to the more stringent 2012 standards.

Prices for the 2012 Chrysler 300C in Ireland start at €57,995 for the Limited version, while the Executive is priced at €62,495, and both version are special order only until the end of 2012.
