AMSTERDAM, 19 de mayo de 2026 – Stellantis anuncia el lanzamiento de su innovador, pequeño y accesible proyecto E-Car; se espera que los primeros E-Cars salgan de la línea de producción en 2028.
La "E" en E-Car significa European, Emotion, Electric y Environmental friendliness. Este segmento de alto potencial, que se producirá en Europa para los europeos, ha sido reconocido por la Comisión Europea por su potencial para impulsar los empleos europeos de diseño y fabricación, al tiempo que desempeña un papel vital en el apoyo a la adopción más amplia de vehículos totalmente eléctricos para una movilidad cómoda, cotidiana y centrada en la ciudad.
El E-Car es un vehículo pequeño, innovador, accesible y totalmente eléctrico que se está desarrollando en la verdadera tradición de la "movilidad de las personas" europea, abordando la contracción sin precedentes del segmento de automóviles pequeños y accesibles en Europa en los últimos años. Es la expresión perfecta del propósito de Stellantis de "Conectar a las personas con las marcas y los productos que aman y en los que confían".

Con la asignación del E-Car a Pomigliano, y el potencial de volúmenes de producción significativos, Stellantis está aprovechando la larga trayectoria de la planta en la producción de algunos de los automóviles más emblemáticos y accesibles de Europa, incluido el muy querido Fiat Panda.
