After a successful 2022 season, RAM and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing have announced the renewal of the partnership which unites them on racetracks around the world. The partnership will run through 2023 and include three different competitions in which the American brand will join Red Bull KTM Factory Racing as the team's official sponsor: the FIM Motocross World Championship, the FIM Enduro World Championship and the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. This renewed partnership will make its next appearance at the Motocross GP race on the Villa La Angostura circuit in Argentina in the spectacular landscape of Patagonia on the weekend of March 11-12.
Four RAM 1500s will be at the disposal of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams for travel during the season's races: two RAM 1500 TRX models, a RAM 1500 Rebel, and a RAM Laramie. The RAM trucks also will be showcased during some events throughout the season. In addition, the agreement once again includes the presence of the RAM logo on riders' motorcycles and racing jersey in the mentioned categories as well as on all of KTM's social media channels—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Domenico Gostoli, Head of RAM & Dodge Brands Enlarged Europe, stated that “We are proud to announce the renewal of a breathtaking experience, the result of the union of two similar worlds: the great work done together in 2022 has confirmed two Communities united by many values, including passion, personality and the constant pursuit of performance to overcome limits, led by a strong emotional component. We are excited to have shared the successes of KTM last year and we are ready to experience together another season of great satisfaction with such a strong Brand and Team.”.

Robert Jonas, KTM Head of Motorsports Offroad: “Continuing our partnership with RAM through 2023 really elevates our racing program and allows the riders to travel in comfort. RAM and its TRX truck fits our READY TO RACE approach perfectly and, just like Red Bull KTM, RAM has a long history in performance and success. The partnership got off to a great start during the first year together with Tom Vialle becoming the MX2 World Champion – it could not have started better! Working alongside such a well-respected and leading brand is exciting and we look forward to more success in the near future.”

Pit Beirer, KTM Motorsports Director: “For Red Bull KTM Factory Racing to continue collaborating with a global brand like RAM is really important. We share the same values and although this is a relatively new partnership, it has so far been a real success story and I’m exciting for 2023 with the caliber of riders that the team has assembled. I think by bringing a brand like RAM into racing paddocks is a hugely beneficial for all involved as it will elevate the paddock and create a lot of interest for both Red Bull KTM, and for RAM.”

RAM: 2022 is confirmed as full of successes

RAM Truck was launched in 2009 in the US as a stand-alone division, focused on meeting the demands of truck buyers and delivering benchmark-quality vehicles. With a full lineup — RAM 1500, 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab — RAM designs trucks which aid customers in heavy-duty work and take them wherever they need to go. The RAM 1500 lineup also includes the Know & Go mobile app featuring an immersive experience for customers who want to learn more about their vehicles.
RAM continues to outperform the competition and sets the benchmarks for several important features, such as towing capacity, payload, interior space and much more.
After the successes collected in 2021, 2022 confirmed the appreciation of customers and critics for the RAM Brand, which won 20 awards during the year. Prominent among them was the 2022 Best Truck Brand award, received for the third consecutive year by U.S. News and World. As for individual models, of note are the Top Safety Pick award-delivered by IIHS-and 2022 Full-size Pickup of the Year-delivered by Auto123-obtained by the RAM 1500 for the third and fourth year in a row, respectively.
Accomplishments enhanced by the first months of this 2023, in which the Brand has already secured eight awards, including Car and Driver's Editor's Choice for the RAM 1500 RTX model for the tenth consecutive year.

KTM: a DNA defined by adrenaline and sporting successes

Located in Mattighofen, Austria, KTM is the largest European manufacturer of high-performing on-road and off-road motorsport vehicles. Over the years, its sport division has built up a reputation as a fierce competitor on racetracks around the world, as it takes part in the most important motorsport competitions like the FIM Motocross World Championship and the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship—one of the most prestigious off-road competitions. With the 14th MX2 World Championship title signed by Tom Vialle, the brand achieved 333 world championship titles last year. It was a heart-stopping triumph for the rider from Avignon, who won the crown on the last breath in the Turkish GP race in Afyonkarashisar, with his KTM 250 SX-F.
The remarkable success the brand has achieved on the world stage comes thanks to its innovation and passion for building high-performing motorcycles which seek to improve the rider’s overall experience. The inclusion of race-tested technology in KTM products allows riders to experience first-hand the exhilarating performance which defines the brand.
Moreover, KTM has also developed a range of products, services, accessories, apparel and safety items which complete the KTM riding experience.

The KTM team revamped: talented young riders

For the 2023 season the fierce Motocross Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team features some new faces. KTM has decided to focus strongly on young riders, counting on the talents of Andrea Adamo, Sacha Coenen and Liam Everts, who each compete on a KTM 250 SX-F. The mainstay in the team remains Jeffrey Herlings, who is in his seventh year in the category and rides the KTM 450 SX-F. Meanwhile, the Enduro range has confirmed that Josep Garcia will ride the KTM 250 EXC-F and Manuel Lettenbichler will be on the KTM 300 EXC TPI.

RAM 1500 TRX: the ideal partner for KTM teams

Designed and tested to last long and perform well under the most extreme conditions, the RAM 1500 TRX is the American brand's flagship model. Not surprisingly, it will be the main vehicle featured again this season alongside the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams.
With a 702-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI® V-8 engine and a high-capacity TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, the fast and powerful half-ton pickup offers uncompromising performance and allows for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Characterized by segment-leading refinement and sophistication – with luxurious interiors, fine materials, meticulous attention-to-detail, quality and driving comfort – the RAM 1500 TRX displays special features never before offered on pickups.
Capable of fording water up to 80 cm/812 mm, towing up to 3,674 kg and carrying a payload of up to 594 kg to face the most difficult situations with ease, the model excels in top-of-the-line driving and handling, as well as a tuning geared towards high-speed racing for even better on-road and off-road capability.
In addition, the RAM 1500 TRX is periodically renewed through the introduction of special series that showcase ever-evolving details and distinctive features. The unveiling of the next version is scheduled for April, during the races, with a model that will feature a special body color and dedicated graphics.

The fast and powerful RAM 1500s alongside the KTM teams

The RAM 1500 Rebel is the right choice for anyone looking for a vehicle to ride off-road without fear. This is possible thanks to several features of this model, such as the sport performance hood, the coil suspension with 1-inch lift and 9.7-inch ground clearance, the all-terrain 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, the hill descent control and Selec-Speed control (available on 4x4 models). RAM 1500 Rebel is available with two engines (3.6L V6 etorque engine and 5.7L V8 Hemi etorque engine, reaching 395 HP, 555 Nm of torque and max towing 5235 kg which allows ram 1500 rebel to overcome any obstacle) and with attractive interiors also available with red trim. The aggressive and sporty nature of the Rebel still leaves room for a fantastic driving experience, thanks to the advanced technology, that characterizes the interiors, and the numerous monitoring systems.
The RAM 1500 Laramie sets itself apart for its combination of best-in-class performance, payload, luxury and technology, making it one of the best-selling models in Europe, but also for the huge availability of options and packages. This truck has 2 engines available: 3.6L V6 etorque and 5.7L V8 Hemi etorque, which allows it to reach the power of 395 hp and 5230 kg of max towing. The Laramie is also excellent from a technological point of view, with a 12-inch touchscreen, remote vehicle start, advanced brake assist, forward collision warning with active breaking and various driving comforts including heated seats, dual-zone automatic temperature control, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. The Laramie model agreed upon in the partnership also includes the night edition package which is a set of premium features and aesthetic upgrades such as leather-trimmed bucket seats, black interior trim, black night edition badging and heated mirrors.

RAM 1500 REV, electrification power

At the same time, in a real revolution that began over the past year, the brand is moving closer to electric mobility solutions. 2023 began with important news in this regard as RAM confirmed the name of its first 100% electric pickup truck: the RAM 1500 REV—the first step towards the brand’s ambitious goal of bringing the industry’s best electrified options to market. The vehicle will outperform the competition, offering the leading combination of attributes customers care about the most: range, payload, towing and charge time.
As stated by Mike Koval Jr, the brand’s CEO, production of the all-new RAM 1500 REV will begin next year and will be formally revealed to the public in the coming months.
