PSA Peugeot Citroën revises its 2009 forecasts significantly upwards
Due to the recent improvement in the automobile market and the ongoing success of new Peugeot and
Citroën models, the Group’s production and sales performance is significantly stronger than forecast at
the end of the first half.
Output in the fourth-quarter 2009 will be 30% higher than in the prior-year period and 17% higher than
in the third-quarter 2009.
Given these developments, PSA Peugeot Citroën has revised its 2009 forecasts significantly upwards:
- Recurring operating income for the second half is expected to break even.
- Full-year free cash flow is expected to be positive.
