PSA Peugeot Citroën Presents its 2011 Suppliers’ Awards
Yesterday, for the seventh year in a row, PSA Peugeot Citroën presented its Best Supplier Awards.
The honours were given to 17 of the 800 nominated suppliers by Philippe Varin, Chairman of the Managing Board, and Yannick Bézard, Vice President, Purchasing.
The Awards recognized the 2010 performance of suppliers from France, other European countries and around the world for their relationship with PSA Peugeot Citroën in five critical categories: quality, innovation, parts and services, cost management and, for the first time this year, Industrial Excellence at supplier production facilities.
Nominees in each category were judged according to the same criteria regardless of their size, from SMEs to multinationals.
- Quality: A commitment to delivering superior quality as a supplier of services, industrial equipment and production parts and components.
- Winners: Faurecia, A. Raymond, Ryobi, EPT, Serthel and Coskunoz.
- Innovation: The ability to design and develop reliable, practical innovations that appeal to customers.
- Winners: Bosch and Michelin.
- Parts and services: Compliance with delivery deadlines and orders for replacement parts from dealerships and production parts from our plants
- Winners: Novetud, Valeo Illumination and Sanden
- Cost management: Technical savings achieved during the year and potential savings expected in 2010.
- Winners: Snop, Mahle and Veolia
- Industrial Excellence in a supplier production facility: Exceptional performance in delivering sustainable manufacturing excellence
- Winners: Pernat Emile S.A. and Gestamp Ronchamps SAS
A Jury’s Special Prize was also awarded to celebrate the excellence of a supplier demonstrating technical capabilities recognized by PSA Peugeot Citroën plant maintenance departments and engineering teams. The winner’s added value was based on its consistent quality of service, on-time delivery, ability to suggest new solutions and exceptional productivity performance in 2010.
