PEUGEOT GOLF TOUR INTERNATIONAL : The Peugeot brand’s amateur golf operations celebrate their 30th anniversary
In 2014, PEUGEOT celebrates the 30th year of its golf programme aimed at amateur players. These operations, ran by the lion brand‘s dealer’s network for their customers and prospects, take place in 14 countries, with 50 events in France, starting this Sunday, April 27th, in Bordeaux.
From Abu Dhabi to Paris
The 2014 edition of the PEUGEOT GOLF TOUR INTERNATIONAL is organised in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, the Maghreb and the French overseas departments and territories. The season began on the spectacular “Yas Links” course in Abu Dhabi on March 22nd. Fifty operations will take place in France from April to August 2014. This friendly competition is played in pairs, for greater pleasure and sharing, with the possibility of playing two different flags on each green. From September 13 to September 15, the 2014 Edition of the Peugeot Golf Tour will close on a prestigious International Final, at the Golf National and the Golf de Saint-Cloud.
An operation in line with the values of the PEUGEOT brand
With the PEUGEOT GOLF TOUR INTERNATIONAL, the brand is associated to the values of the golf world and can reach new targets and develop sustainable contacts with its own clients. This operation also enables dealerships to create special relationships with local decision makers. This competition is the opportunity for PEUGEOT to highlight its new models, specially the new PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW, voted “CAR OF THE YEAR 2014” as well as its three Diesel hybrid models: 3008 HYbrid4, 508 HYbrid4 and 508 RXH. Each event is designed to present the PEUGEOT range , through exhibition villages and in original dynamic test drive centre.

PEUGEOT maintains close ties with golf. Since the creation of the first corporate golf course by Jean-Pierre Peugeot in 1929, Peugeot has continued to increase its involvement in the golfing world.
Partner of the Peugeot French Open for 14 years, official partner of the Lancôme Trophy up to 2003, the Spanish Tour, the Portuguese Golf Federation and the France championship for golf teaching professionals, has been going out to meet amateur golfers throughout the world for more than 30 years.
