  • The day after the 8 Hours of Bahrain, Mathias Beche, Nick Cassidy, Malthe Jakobsen, and Alexander Quinn took the wheel of the PEUGEOT 9X8 on the Sakhir circuit.

 

  • Nick Cassidy, confirmed as a full-time driver for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies in 2026, set the second-fastest lap of the day.

 

  • Malthe Jakobsen also completed several laps to gather valuable data in preparation for the upcoming season.

  • The PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 (Duval/Jakobsen/Vandoorne) continued its strong run, finishing fifth.

  • For his first qualifying session of the season, Mikkel Jensen placed the PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 on the second row of the starting grid for the 6 Hours of Fuji.

 

  • The Danish driver completed an impressive series of laps around the Fuji Speedway (4.563 km) in under 1'29", ultimately securing the fourth-fastest time in the Hyperpole session with 1:28.716.

 

  • For his final qualifying session with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, Stoffel Vandoorne placed the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 in 12th position on the grid, just a few tenths short of making the Hyperpole.

  • Stoffel Vandoorne, who made his debut behind the wheel of the PEUGEOT 9X8 at Fuji in 2023, will contest his final race with Team Peugeot TotalEnergies.

  • Frenchman Théo Pourchaire (22 years old) will make his debut at the wheel of the PEUGEOT 9X8 during the 2025 8 Hours of Bahrain and will become a full-time driver for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies in 2026.
  • He will replace Stoffel Vandoorne, whose contract ends after the 6 Hours of Fuji, in the cockpit of the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94.
  • Currently a development driver for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, Théo Pourchaire first experienced the PEUGEOT 9X8 a year earlier, during the Rookie Test in Bahrain in 2024.

  • After missing the Brazil round, Jean-Eric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne return to the wheel of the PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 and #94.

 

  • Nick Cassidy (31), who will officially join Team Peugeot TotalEnergies as a full-time driver for the 2026 season, will get his first taste of the PEUGEOT 9X8 in a test session organized in Austin after the race.

•       After qualifying fourth, the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 (Duval/Jakobsen) finished sixth in the 2025 6 Hours of São Paulo.

         •       Starting from the third row on the grid, the PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 (Di Resta/Jensen) crossed the line in seventh place.

         •       Team Peugeot TotalEnergies achieved its best result of the season, both in qualifying and in the race.

  • For his first ever FIA WEC qualifying session, Malthe Jakobsen placed the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 in fourth position on the starting grid for the 6 Hours of São Paulo.

 

  • Paul Di Resta also put in an excellent performance, securing the sixth fastest time in Hyperpole. The PEUGEOT #93 will therefore start from the third row on the grid.
