SUSTAINera Première at EQUIP AUTO of leading circular economy solutions on remanufactured LED Headlamps, DPF tanks, Brake Calipers and recycled 12 V batteries

• SUSTAINera demonstrates its capacity for innovation by launching the industry’s first remanufactured DPF tanks and officially opening orders for the first remanufactured LED headlamps in the market.

Amsterdam, 14^th October 2025 – At the EQUIP AUTO Paris 2025 trade show, SUSTAINera more than ever showcases Stellantis' expertise in the circular economy with its 360° approach based on the 4R strategy: Reman (Remanufacturing), Repair, Reuse, Recycle.

At the Stellantis booth, SUSTAINera presents the première of 4 new products:

i) first remanufactured DPF tanks and order opening for the first remanufactured LED headlamps, reaffirming its know-how and leadership in the remanufacturing aftermarket sector

ii) multi-brand offer expansion for remanufactured brake calipers, confirming its willingness to tackle all cars on the market and feeding the needs of the Eurorepar Car Service network and independent repairers

iii) launch of recycled 12V batteries with cutting-edge environmental efficiency, demonstrating its ability to reduce the use of natural resources and waste by reinjecting materials into the production loop.
 

Beyond the press conference at the STELLANTIS booth, SUSTAINera will be a key contributor to the roundtable talk about Circular Economy, taking place in the central hall of the Sustainability Village.

First remanufactured LED Headlamps in the market

After collaborating to launch the first remanufactured front camera at the end of 2023, we are now extending further with the introduction of LED headlamps into our remanufacturing range, proving the commitment of both Stellantis and its partner Valeo to develop sustainability through innovative remanufacturing initiatives.

Remanufacturing the headlamp enables the reuse of up to 50% of the raw materials recovered from an end-of-life LED headlamp, mostly the most valuable parts such as the LED module itself, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 70% compared to producing a new one (figures according to Valeo internal estimations).

Stellantis is the first carmaker to integrate this product in its aftersales offer in Europe, available in the SUSTAINera REMAN range. The first application is implemented on the Peugeot models 3008 and 5008; with the Peugeot 508 model launching soon.

An expanded range of remanufactured pollution control solutions

Already offering a range of remanufactured SCR tanks (components designed to meet regulatory limits on NOx emissions), SUSTAINera is expanding its range of diesel vehicle emission control parts with a range of DPF tanks (components designed for the proper functioning of the diesel particulate filter system in compliance with particulate emission standards).

Available across the European market for most Citroën, Peugeot, and DS models, SUSTAINera's remanufactured DPF tanks come with their own integrated pump.

This unique offering on the remanufactured parts market reinforces the Stellantis Group's ability to provide high-performance and sustainable solutions to aftermarket players.
 

Recycled batteries ready for the future

Already offering recycled maintenance products such as coolant, windshield washer fluid, and engine oil solutions, SUSTAINera enlarges its Recycle range with the 12 V batteries, the first recycled part, with the intention to expand soon with other product families.

The batteries developed by SUSTAINera use up to 85% recycled materials. And by incorporating 100% recycled lead, they already exceed the upcoming European regulations which, starting in 2030, will require manufacturers to use 85% recycled lead in battery manufacturing. By stepping up its design efforts for optimized sustainability, SUSTAINera is confirming its status as a pioneer of Circular Economy in the automotive industry.
 

Multi-Brand remanufactured Calipers

Stellantis is as well the first OEM to offer reman multi-brand brake calipers in Aftersales.

From September 2025, the REMAN calipers range has been expanded with new applications for other manufacturers vehicles – details have been shared with all the Stellantis repairers’ network.

Stellantis developed these parts in conjunction with its Reman Aftersales parts supplier, following the same technical specifications to guarantee the highest level of quality.
 

The SUSTAINera Remanufactured product portfolio expansion

The solutions presented at EQUIP AUTO join the SUSTAINera wide range of remanufactured automotive spare parts including more than 12.000 part numbers across more than 40 different product lines, such as starters, turbochargers, injectors, clutches, multimedia systems, and more.

This portfolio expansion is strengthening the Distrigo - parts distribution hubs in Europe - offer to cover professionals' needs but also end customers looking increasingly for affordable and sustainable alternative parts.
