Ralph Wangemann Confirmed as Managing Director Human Resources and Labour Director of Opel Automobile GmbH

Rüsselsheim.  At its most recent meeting, the Supervisory Board of Opel Automobile GmbH extended Ralph Wangemann's contract as Managing Director Human Resources and Labour Director of Opel Automobile GmbH until January 2030. With the extension, Opel is sending a clear signal for continuity and stability in a central management function.

Ralph Wangemann has been working for the Rüsselsheim-based carmaker for more than 25 years and has held various responsibilities in the human resources department during this time. Since January 2019, the 56-year-old has been heading human resources and providing important impetus for the further development of the company. His wealth of experience strengthens Opel in the current far-reaching transformation of the industry.
