Born from the merger of Fiat-Chrysler and PSA, the Stellantis Group proudly embraces its American roots and aims to promote its competition vehicles in North America. In 2026, Stellantis Motorsport will launch the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America, based on the successful model of numerous Rally Cups organized in Europe featuring various Rally4-category cars offered by Stellantis Motorsport.

In Europe, the Peugeot 208 Rally4, Opel Corsa Rally4, and the newly introduced Lancia Ypsilon Rally4—accessible, reliable, safe, and high-performing race cars (212 hp)—allow young talents and amateur drivers to fully express their potential and experience unique moments in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, Spain, BeLux, United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy…

Stellantis Motorsport supports all its teams and rewards its winners with prize money and bonuses. Former winners such as Yohan and Léo Rossel, or Diego Ruiloba, are now competing in the FIA World Rally Championship with the Citroën C3 Rally2.

This high-level rallying pathway is what Stellantis Motorsport aims to export and promote on the American continent through the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America, the very first brand cup organized in North America and reserved for the Peugeot 208 Rally4. Indeed, the Peugeot brand has a long and rich motorsport history in the United States: winner of the Indianapolis 500, the 12 Hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans, and the legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with the Peugeot 405 T16 and 208 T16.

To conquer North America, Stellantis Motorsport will rely on the expertise of Team FJ, a well-established structure locally in terms of infrastructure and logistics, and the organizer of the official NASCAR Europe championship. Team FJ has in-depth knowledge of the CRC (Canada) and ARA (USA) championships and will bring an unprecedented level of service across these vast territories.

The Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America calendar will be based on the best four results obtained in gravel or snow rallies among the fourteen North American events: seven American and seven Canadian—followed by a semi-final in the USA and a final in Canada, where points will be doubled. Each competitor, divided into Junior and Expert categories, may score points in a maximum of six rallies. As in Europe, Stellantis Motorsport will offer the winners a rally program behind the wheel of a Stellantis Group car.

Didier Clément, Head of Customer Racing, Stellantis Motorsport, stated:

Launching a Brand Cup in rallying on the North American continent is both a unique and very exciting challenge. Our Peugeot 208 Rally4, with over 10,000 starts since its launch, has already proven itself in rallies around the world, and its first appearances in American and Canadian events have each resulted in a 2-wheel drive category win. We are therefore confident that the teams who join this Cup will have a great time and a chance to showcase their speed.”

The technical and sporting regulations of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America will be published in the summer of 2025, along with the opening of registration for a test session with the Peugeot 208 Rally4 for interested drivers and teams.
