Lancia Corse is set to return to competitive action as the team heads to the 5th Rally Città di Foligno, scheduled for 6–7 March, the opening round of the Campionato Italiano Rally Terra 2026. The event will mark the first opportunity to test the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale on gravel in rally conditions, following a development phase carried out exclusively through testing.
The event represents the next stage in the development programme of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, following the promising debut earlier in the season at Rallye Monte-Carlo. Both official crews will take the start: Yohan Rossel with Arnaud Dunand and Nikolay Gryazin with Konstantin Aleksandrov.
The Rally Città di Foligno features a compact and demanding format, with 9 special stages covering a total distance of 245 kilometres, including more than 90 kilometres of competitive stages. The rally will provide a valuable opportunity to continue refining the car’s performance on gravel and to further strengthen the collaboration between the team and its drivers in real rally conditions, looking ahead to upcoming WRC2 challenges on this surface.
The Campionato Italiano Rally Terra is widely recognised as one of the most competitive national gravel championships in Europe, making it an important proving ground for both drivers and machinery. The rocky and abrasive surface of Rally Città di Foligno provides a perfect test environment not only for gravel set-up and driving development, but also for evaluating performance and reliability, despite the overall mileage being shorter than international events.
