Lancia confirms the competitiveness of the new Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale with an impressive final leg that lifted the brand to the top end of the classification

• The 94th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo, the opening round of the WRC championship, proved to be a vintage year with exceptional conditions combining dry roads, rain, snow, and ice.

• On only their second participation at Monte-Carlo, Léo Rossel and Guillaume Mercoiret claimed victory in WRC2 after a flawless performance at the wheel of the C3 Rally2.

• This opening round of the WRC also marked the major return of Lancia to the World Championship. The two Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale cars showed a very high level of performance, as demonstrated by fastest times set in 8 special stages.

• In Rally4, victory went to Andrea Spatato at the wheel of one of the five Peugeot 208 Rally4 cars entered. It should be noted that five Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF cars were also entered in this category, highlighting the attractiveness of Stellantis Motorsport Customer Racing products.

Scheduled from 22 to 25 January 2026, the 94^th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo is the opening round of the 2026 WRC season. It marks Lancia’s official return to the World Rally Championship with the new Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.

At the wheel of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, two complementary drivers will mark the return of the Italian brand to rallying.

The reigning WRC2 Vice-World Champions Yohan Rossel and Arnaud Dunand, together with the reigning WRC2 Challenger World Champions Nikolay Gryazin and his co-driver Konstantin Aleksandrov, will take the start of the 94th Rallye Monte Carlo 2026 as the official crews of Team Lancia Corse HF.

• Yohan Rossel, Arnaud Dunand and the PH Sport team were crowned runners-up in the 2025 WRC2 World Rally Championship in a Citroën C3 Rally2.

• In 2025, the Citroën C3 Rally2 achieved 165 victories and secured more than 350 national and international podium finishes.

• Stellantis Motorsport unveiled the new Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale in Satory.

Building on the global success of its Rally4 cars, Stellantis Motorsport continues its expansion in South America with the creation of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup South America, a new trophy open to all drivers competing in a Peugeot 208 Rally4, Opel Corsa Rally4 or Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 across the continent’s national and regional championships.

In 2026, Lancia will make its comeback to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC2). The announcement was revealed in an emotional video featuring Luca Napolitano, Miki Biasion, and Eugenio Franzetti, celebrating the return of the most successful rally brand of all time.

The world debut will take place at the Monte Carlo Rally (22–25 January 2026), the first race of the 2026 WRC, where the new Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale will tackle the legendary French Alpine roads in the WRC2 category.

 A complete rally range, consistent with the Lancia Corse HF strategy: from the Ypsilon HF Racing to the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, to the new Rally2 HF Integrale, symbol of continuity between a glorious past and a competitive future.
