Mopar, the reference brand for services, customer care, original spare parts and accessories for the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands, has a significant profile at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA), which reflects its growing presence in EMEA markets.  
On each of the FCA brand stands, the public will be able to see close uplarge array of products offered to customers, both at the point of vehicle sales and later through aftersales, to personalise their cars with exclusive services and accessories.


The show cars: Cherokee KrawLer, Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser and Renegade Trailhawk

Based on the Trailhawk version, the Jeep Cherokee KrawLer show car was created to tackle the toughest driving conditions, as the name suggests by hinting at 'rock crawlers' that are designated to climb over the harshest off-road obstacles. 'KL' is the code identifying the Cherokee family.
The ride is raised for extreme off-road use. This is why the show car is fitted with special Mopar equipment that includes special suspension, BF Goodrich KM2 255/80/17 off-road tyres, wider wings, skid plates and platforms under the doors.


Sporting a special, Matt Green body as a tribute to Jeep Brand's Heritage and quartz grey interior and exterior details, the KrawLer show car has a powerful 3.2 V6 Pentastar 272 HP engine, automatic nine-speed transmission and 'Jeep® Active Drive Lock' four-wheel drive with low range and rear differential lock.


Many eyes will also be on the Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser show car at the IAA Frankfurt. The Sunriser  features exclusive Matt Orange paintwork, hence its original name, in addition to a host of Mopar accessories specifically designed for this vehicle. The bumpers, with a double tow hook on the front, are specifically designed for off-roading. The off-road wings, the 4" suspension lift kit and the half doors make the Sunriser even bolder and more suitable for extreme use. LED lights fitted between the A pillar and windscreen complete the look. LED technology is also implemented for the daytime running lights and the rear light clusters. The interior is inblack leather customised with matte fluorescent orange trim which matches the colour of the bodywork.
The extreme capabilities of this Wrangler, which is powered by a 2.8 CRD engine combined with a five-speed automatic transmission, are further emphasized by an engine skid plate and beadlock wheels. The latter is an accessory which fixes the tyre bead to the rim to prevent unintended tyre removal, particularlywhen running with very low pressure and tackling tricky surfaces, like rocks, sand or mud.
Completing the three-strong Mopar specials line-up in Frankfurt, there is a special 'Moparized' version of the Renegade Trailhawk. This special Trailhawk has 17" aluminium alloy rims, underbody skid plates, two rear tow hooks and exclusive black mirror caps cleverly contrasting with the Anvil livery. Inside, the customisation includes sporty pedals and Jeep design mats. All Mopar accessories are specifically designed to enhance the adventurous spirit of this version of the Renegade which is most suited to off-roading.


Selection of accessories exclusively for Fiat 500X and 500L

Mopar has created a specific line of accessories for the 500X to make the new crossover vehicle even more distinctive. The car on display has exclusive 18'' alloy rims and a "Chrome pack" which includes elegant chrome elements such as the door mouldings, fog light frames and external mirror covers. All this has been embellished by a Cargo Organizer that ensures a wide range of uses to optimise the luggage compartment space. Just one small but important example from more than 100 accessories specific to the 500X, all are top quality products that complement the technical and stylistic features of the crossover Fiat, allowing for complete personalisation.
Also on the stand is a 500L Trekking version, which stands  out in a new Toscana Green livery, and is equipped with several Mopar accessories that accentuate its double life: one metropolitan for a carefree life in the city, and one more ambitious for exciting weekends. The example on show in Frankfurt offers a useful protective luggage compartment tray, a fragrance dispenser, specific scuff plates as well as practical roof bars for mounting bicycles, skis, windsurf boards or roof baggage compartments. The aesthetics are further refined with the satin-finish chromed moulding on the bonnet and tyre valve caps with the Fiat logo.


Elegant details for Lancia

The New Ypsilon models on the Lancia stand are further embellished by Mopar accessories, for that final touch of elegance and personality.
All the cars come with exclusive floor mats and for the Platinum version with its unique "Blu di Blu" livery, there are special chrome caps for the rear view mirrors, emphasising the car from the front. Lastly, the Ypsilon logo makes the chromed tyre valves even more original, and the door heel guards are in glossy black.


Top quality products in the FCA merchandising brand line

Frankfurt show visitors can discover the Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth and Jeep merchandising lines at their respective stands. Thewell-thought-out items and products for Group enthusiasts offer an exclusive collection that aims to be the expression and 'voice' of a lifestyle that captivates the whole world.


In the Lancia area, an exclusive new collection is waiting to be explored, satisfying the desires and needs of those who like to be elegantly on-trend but also original. The new Ypsilon car features both style and substance and always manages to be "the latest thing" - something that is part of its DNA. That same personality has  inspired the development of the new line of clothing and merchandising which offers exclusive products designed ad hoc by the Lancia style centre. The collection is designed especially with women in mind, superbly embodying a dynamic and forward-looking lifestyle.


Inspired by the three automobile versions - Silver, Gold and Platinum - the collection comprises various women's sweatshirts and T-shirts, the result of a meticulous quest for special colouring and materials and a fanatical eye  for detailing. The collection offers  original objects such as the Y-logo phalange ring and bracelet and coordinated accessories which quote the "degradé", "chevròn" and "capitonné" graphic effects, such as the iPad holder or the fountain pen with incorporated USB memory.
The Alfa Romeo collection is inspired by the brand's renovated logo with new graphic effects. A synthesis of the perfect equilibrium between heritage and beauty that typifies Italian style, the new line ranges from clothing - such as sweatshirts in technical fabric and polo-necks in transpiring material with colour-contrasted detailing - to exclusive objects like the expandable waterproof backpack or the sunglasses in lightweight alloy.


The Mopar Owner Centre is available in 19 EMEA markets

Awarded in the field of Key Interactive Italian Awards, the Mopar Owner Centre is the platform that offers consumers high content dedicated to taking care of and maintaining their  Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth and Jeep models.


Launched at the end of 2013 in Italy, the Mopar Owner Centre is now on the sites of various brands in 19 countries - Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Great Britain, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Morocco, Denmark, South Africa and Russia - in 2015, it will extend to Serbia, Turkey, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.


Content available for public navigation -  more than 8,000 pages - offers a complete array of information about the world of after sales: from services to accessories, from original spare parts to customer care, from e-store merchandising (online for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep and Mopar brands) to documents in the technical area.  The "MyBrand" section, accessible via the respective portals, offers exclusive contents and dedicated offers, with a complete, highly personalised assistance service.


FCA Customer Care and mobile applications

On display at the Frankfurt Motor Show will be Customer Care applications, which have registered more than 450,000 downloads in Europe. "Ciao Fiat Mobile", "Lancia Everywhere Mobile", "Alfa Romeo InfoMobile", "I am Jeep Mobile" and "Abarth24h Mobile". Available for free in five languages covering  15 European countries, on both the App Store and Google Play, they offer useful information and assistance fast and easily.


The user and maintenance Handbook is now available for the Fiat 500X, produced in Augmented Reality, thus extending the FCA cars that adopt this new technology: Lancia Ypsilon, Jeep Renegade and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, MiTo and 4C models. By selecting the "AR+" symbol inside the handbook and framing some parts of your car using your smart phone, you can take advantage of a new user experience and get information quickly and simply. Owners can find out how to use the Radio Uconnect Nav 5" and 6.5", understand the different Mood Selector driving modes that optimise the car's behaviour, or get to know in detail the active safety features of the 500X such as the Blind Spot Assist, the Brake Control and the Lane Assist.


Customer Care on Twitter too

@Fiat Care, @Alfa RomeoCare, @Lancia Care and @Jeep Care are the dedicated Twitter pages for assistance, where customers can find support via a team of special operators. Available to Italian, French and German customers, since April the service has recently been extended to British customers.


Mopar Vehicle Protection: personalised services are getting more numerous

"Mopar Vehicle Protection" offers warranty service contracts from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to give customers maximum peace of mind thanks to extensive coverage by mechanics and special maintenance plans, along with an assistance and repair service carried out by highly specialised technicians, using exclusively original spare parts.


Launched in 2013 in the EMEA area and now present in more than 36 countries with more than 50 products, the customisable Mopar Vehicle Protection service offers, at competitive prices, different maintenance plans and warranty extensions that ensure the car is always in perfect condition. In three years, more than 1.1 million thousand MPV packets have been sold.

In particular, the customer can choose from the following options:

  • "Maximum Care" - coverage for the mechanical and electrical parts than extend the car warranty
  • "Powertrain Care" - coverage that extends the car warranty on the engine, gear and transmission mechanical parts
  • "Easy Care" - the coverage plan for scheduled maintenance service costs at competitive prices;
  • "Top Care"- the most complete program, which extends the manufacturer's warranty and scheduled maintenance services
  • "Essential Care" - for cars up to 8 years old, offering two years of road assistance, discounts on spare parts and a series of scheduled check-ups
  • "Oil Care" - a book of oil and filter change coupons


The "Mopar Vehicle Protection" planscover a complete range of offerings, in terms of duration and distance covered, as well as the certainty of being able to count on, any time anywhere, an extensive assistance network that uses original spare parts and highly qualified technicians. Moreover, they offer all the peace of mind of roadside assistance services across Europe and all the value of a plan which, if the vehicle is sold, can be used by its new owner.
