Maserati to play a leading role at Motor Valley Fest 2026
The eighth edition of the Festival dedicated to the motoring excellence of the local area is about to begin in Modena. In the spotlight will be Maserati, the longest-running brand in Motor Valley. It will be putting on show the MCPURA super sports car, opening the doors of the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti for “Trident Talks” and will be involved in a range of conferences. All in the name of the Trident’s centenary and its first sporting victory at the Targa Florio.

Modena, 25 May 2026 – Everything is ready for the eighth edition of Motor Valley Fest, an iconic open-air event and tribute to the excellence of the Land of Motors in Emilia-Romagna, due to bring Modena to life from May 28 to 31. Maserati – the longest-running car brand in the Motor Valley – will be taking part in the prestigious event, this year crossing the finish line of the first 112 years since it was founded: a record that few brands in the world can claim.
The 2026 edition of the festival also coincides with a double anniversary of great importance for Maserati: the first 100 years of its iconic logo, the Trident, and of its first sporting victory, obtained in 1926 at the Targa Florio. The logo was created by Mario Maserati, one of the brothers and a great art lover, inspired by the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, the birthplace of the “Società anonima officine Alfieri Maserati” in 1914. Since then, that emblem of strength and power has become the unmistakable signature of Maserati cars, embodying the origins, ambition and heritage of a brand founded to compete and win on the road and on the track.
Visitors to Motor Valley Fest will have the opportunity to admire an MCPURA super sports car – on display in the magnificent Courtyard at the Modena Military Academy – embellished with the sophisticated Ai Aqua Rainbow colour developed by Maserati Fuoriserie. An iridescent blue, in sunlight it transforms to reveal pearlescent reflections inspired by the prism and the breakdown of light. The result is a refined, dynamic colour, obtained using special pigments to generate a surprising visual effect. An authentic expression of luxury the Maserati way, this masterpiece of Modena's ingenuity was constructed at the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti, a flagship of Italian industry and the cradle of all the Trident's creations: from the GranTurismo and GranCabrio to the MCPURA and GT2 Stradale. On a daily basis here, master artisans give shape to customers' dreams, preserving a knowledge that is renewed without ever betraying its roots.
For Motor Valley Fest, Maserati is also opening the doors of its Modena headquarters for “Trident Talks”: two exclusive events to experience the charm and uniqueness of one of the most iconic Made in Italy brands. Moderated by anchorwoman Tiziana Fait, the two encounters will play out in an exceptional setting: the Maserati showroom designed by Ron Arad and the Fuoriserie atelier at Viale Ciro Menotti 322, Modena. The first talk will focus on the company's history and evolution for the Trident’s 100th anniversary, whereas the second event will take the audience on a journey to discover BOTTEGAFUORISERIE, the new project that epitomises elegance the Maserati way.
Maserati's participation in Motor Valley Fest 2026 – a privileged encounter between the more than 2,900 companies that make up the Land of Motors and the global automotive system – forms part of the schedule for the Year of the Trident, a series of events to celebrate the centenary of the iconic logo and its first victory in a race. On 25 April 1926, aboard the legendary Tipo 26 – the first car to bear the Trident logo – Alfieri Maserati took first place in his class and eighth overall, marking the beginning of a racing tradition that has helped define the brand's very identity. An extraordinary Italian story, recently also celebrated by the Italian Post Office with a stamp dedicated to the Trident as part of its “Excellence of the production system” series.
