Modena, 12 February 2026 – These days, Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo are attracting international attention as the designated hosts of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and the many related initiatives that help showcase Italy as a whole. In this context, Maserati is at the heart of a series of exclusive initiatives and experiences in Cortina’s most iconic locations. Through its cars and the new Grecale Cristallo Special Edition, the Trident weaves a narrative rooted in the values of excellence and Made in Italy that have always defined the identity of the Modena-based brand– the epitome of Italian elegance worldwide.

The beating heart of the Trident in Cortina is Casa Maserati: created within the prestigious Alajmo Cortina restaurant in Località Ronco, it is an immersive space designed to welcome media, partners and guests in a refined setting that showcases Italian beauty and culture through design, high-end furnishings and haute cuisine. Here, on 10 February, the inaugural event officially launched the brand’s activities against the stunning backdrop of the Dolomites. The exclusive Opening Event brought together leading figures from entertainment, sport and business, including the Bianchet couple, founders of the eponymous Swiss watchmaking brand, and renowned American actor Jeremy Renner. Guests were also able to admire one of the stunning Maserati Grecale Cristallo Special Edition models on display just outside the location.

Enhancing the event further was the presence of Roberto Bolle, Étoile of Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the new Maserati Brand Ambassador, reaffirming his affinity with the Trident just a few months after his performance at the historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena – an emotional moment within the celebrations marking the return of GranTurismo and GranCabrio production to the Motor Valley. The internationally renowned Étoile and Maserati share the same values and a common vision: the pursuit of harmony between aesthetics and performance, between emotion and technique. Elegance is not merely a visual trait, but a way of moving through the world. Beauty is not an ornament, but a language. Dynamism is an attitude.

Alongside the star dancer was Chef Massimiliano Alajmo, a Brand Ambassador for several years, who welcomed guests to Casa Maserati with a refined gastronomic experience, blending the beauty of haute cuisine with the Trident’s values of authenticity and innovation.

The same dialogue between kindred worlds found further expression inside Casa Maserati through the world premiere of an exclusive piece created by partner Giorgetti, a historic design brand and an emblem of manufacturing excellence that naturally resonates with the universe of the Trident. Making its debut was the NEREO table football, the new iconic piece of the Giorgetti Maserati Edition Collection furniture and accessories collection, where every detail is the result of an uncompromising pursuit of perfection, and where aesthetics and function meet with sartorial precision—transforming the act of play into a ritual of style. A collaboration launched in 2025 that continues this year with the presentation of Nereo in Cortina and at Giorgetti Spiga – The Place in Milan, and will culminate in the launch of new furniture pieces during Milan Design Week in April.

Cristiano Fiorio, General Manager of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE and Maserati Chief Marketing Officer, stated: “Maserati’s presence in Cortina is a natural extension of our vision of contemporary elegance: rooted in tradition, yet able to engage with different territories and languages. In the heart of the Dolomites, together with our Brand Ambassadors and Partners, we have created an extraordinary experience, always placing the customer at the centre while celebrating the authentic connection between design and the Italian lifestyle. The new Grecale Cristallo perfectly embodies this vision, interpreting our idea of personalisation through the Maserati Fuoriserie programme, as a distinctive expression of uniqueness capable of fulfilling our customers’ most personal desires. The international context of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games further amplifies the value of our exclusivity on a global stage and makes our pride in being Italian even more tangible.

Maserati Grecale Cristallo Special Edition
The undisputed star of the Opening Event was the Maserati Grecale Cristallo
, the special edition featuring Fuoriserie contents inspired by the spirit of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, for which the brand is Automotive Premium Partner. Previewed on 8 January during the Olympic Flame’s passage at the historic Modena plant, the Trident’s new creation was displayed at the entrance to Casa Maserati to welcome guests, while the first ten units were used as courtesy vehicles for Olympic Committee members and the distinguished guests in attendance.

A symbol of purity, Monte Cristallo towers over Cortina d’Ampezzo and becomes the conceptual matrix of the project – a place where matter and light meet with almost sculptural precision, giving rise to an aesthetic of balance and elegance. From this inspiration comes the latest creation of the Fuoriserie programme, conceived as a declaration of ambition, craftsmanship and a contemporary vision of Italian style.

A central element of Grecale Cristallo’s identity is the exclusive Azzurro Aureo, a Fuoriserie colour, certified by the dedicated fender livery- both the badge and hallmark of the programme. The naming traces a chromatic progression that begins with Maserati blue and evolves towards an increasingly pure, cooler tone, becoming lighter to evoke the shimmer of snow and winter slopes. To this blue base is added a subtle yet diffused golden mica, recalling the symbolic value of gold medals and interpreting the concepts of excellence, prestige and victory in a refined key. The exterior aesthetic is further enhanced by 21” CRIO diamond-cut aluminium alloy wheels and the new front grille inserts painted in the body colour.

Inside, the cabin reflects the same Alpine inspiration through Premium Ghiaccio leather, a light and elegant shade that amplifies the feeling of brightness and purity, together with exclusive finishes and contents designed to express an idea of modern elegance that is profoundly Italian. Completing the configuration is a set of Maserati Original Accessories, designed to elevate every detail. The set includes self-levelling logo wheel centre caps, branded valve caps, personalised courtesy lights and branded front mats – elements that underscore the Trident’s hallmark care and refinement. The Grecale Cristallo special series can be ordered in Modena, Trofeo and Folgore versions, retaining all its distinctive contents.
