Maserati bags two awards from BBC TopGear India magazine in its inaugural year in India

The Quattroporte and MC Stradale has won BBC TopGear India Awards for ‘Luxury Car of the Year’ and ‘Drivers’ Car of the Year’ respectively.

BBC TopGear India presented their choice for Cars of the Year across 21 categories at a glittering awards ceremony held in Mumbai, India. Present at the occasion were a host of Bollywood names and the big names from the Indian automobile industry. 

“Awards from a highly respected publication like BBC TopGear India are not only motivating but they are a further endorsement of our faith in our products. With the launch of the entire Maserati model range in April we are very pleased to receive these accolades from TopGear magazine India for both the Quattroporte and the MC Stradale.” commented Ashish Chordia, Chairman, Shreyans Inc. 

Complete results for prize categories are published in the December issue of TopGear magazine India. Since its inception in 2007, this is the first time the Awards ceremony was staged. “A TopGear car is one that simply excites you and has you searching for reasons to take your car out even if you want to get nowhere” said, Girish Karkera, editor, BBC TopGear magazine India.
