Modena, November 20 – The “Milano AutoClassica” is underway from Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23 at the Fiera Milano (Rho) pavilions, welcoming fans, experts, and industry professionals captivated by the world of classic cars and special projects.

The event features the Maserati MC20 Cielo “Opera d’Arte”, a one-off created in 2024 within the Maserati Fuoriserie personalization program - the pinnacle of the Trident’s bespoke possibilities, where the experience becomes unrepeatable and creativity knows no limits.

This special vehicle will be displayed near the Aci Storico stand, where it will be presented during the talk “Art Car: when design meets the automobile” at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 21.

This particular car is, in fact, a unique model from Maserati's line of super sports cars. Following the MC20 Halo Car, the model recently underwent its natural evolution with the new MCPURA, which elevates its predecessor to a higher level, making it even more exclusive and performance-oriented. The Maserati MCPURA was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last July and is available in both coupé and convertible versions, the latter being named Cielo.

With MC20 Cielo “Opera d’Arte”, Maserati has once again redefined the concept of exclusivity, transforming artistic vision into performance, and performance into pure inspiration. The same spirit of creative exploration also gave life to another remarkable masterpiece, the MC20 “Less is More…?” one-off. This special MC20 Cielo is customized with design elements inspired by the Bauhaus movement and enriched with fine details and intricate craftsmanship, including a dedicated livery and specially developed body colors. Both creations were crafted at the renovated Officine Maserati within the historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena.

In particular, drawing on the pioneering language of Abstract art, the Maserati Fuoriserie department crafted the MC20 “Opera d’Arte” through an unprecedented creative vision. The project is the result of over a year of close collaboration between Maserati Fuoriserie, Maserati Centro Stile, and Maserati Engineering.

Entirely hand-painted, the Trident’s spyder became a blank canvas where customization and experimentation brought a contemporary masterpiece to life. Fifteen extraordinary colors and thousands of hours of expert craftsmanship contributed to a truly one-of-a-kind result. In particular, the colors chosen for this project—from the bespoke acid yellow to the warm orange shade and the vibrant electric green—were designed and formulated to evoke different emotions in every detail. Moreover, from the advanced laser engraving on the Alcantara seats to the cabin’s sporty carbon-fiber elements, the interplay of texture and tones creates an intense and refined sensory experience.

Faithful to the spirit of the Fuoriserie Program and conceived as a “white board” for the most original personalities, the interior of the MC20 Cielo “Opera d’Arte” blends hand-painted details on the lower dashboard with leather inserts on the upper section, creating the sensation of being enveloped in a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The same artisanal care and abstract vision continue on the exterior: the wheels are adorned with unique graphic details in color combinations that amplify the car’s overall visual impact.
