60 years at Maserati. Ermanno Cozza celebrates a great milestone in viale Ciro Menotti

It was sixty years ago that Ermanno first set foot in the plant that was to become like home to him. It was October 23, 1951. Maserati was then owned by Adolfo and Omar Orsi. The Maserati brothers had returned to Bologna four years before. At that time Maserati focused mainly on racing but, shortly afterwards, it began producing some of the fastest, most stylish granturismos and sedans in automobile history.
Over the years Ermanno held a number of different roles at Maserati; from the experiments department to the racing team, from after-sales to sales. For many years now he has been the much appreciated historical consultant, the guardian of the legend.
Keeping watch over Maserati history, Ermanno has become an iconic figure for vintage car collectors and automobile historians from around the world. On Monday afternoon the company celebrated his loyal service with a special toast, attended by all Maserati employees, in the showroom in viale Ciro Menotti in Modena.
