Adrian Newey, technical director of F1's Red Bull Racing, will compete in the eighth and final round of the Trofeo Maserati GranTurismo MC.
This weekend's action will take place at Mugello and Newey will team up with his friend Joe Macari, who has experience in a Maserati on the track.
Qualifying will take place tomorrow, Saturday 1 October, at 9.50 and at 15.10. The two races will be beamed live by Nuvolari from 11.10-12.00 and from 16.40-17.30 on Sunday.
