FIA European GT3 Championship
Oschersleben is hosting the second round of the new FIA GT championship that witnesses the participation of three Maserati GranSport Lights.

- n° 77: Maserati GranSport Light chassis n° 23403
Drivers: Alberto Cerrai (I) - Diego Alessi (I)
- n° 78: Maserati GranSport Light chassis n° 23399
Drivers: Lorenzo Casè (I) - Benedetto Marti (I)
Oschersleben is hosting the second round of the new FIA GT championship that witnesses the participation of three Maserati GranSport Lights. The Trident cars are fielded by AF Corse and crewed by Cerrai-Alessi, Palma-Sperati and Casè-Marti. The first of the two races was held (the second will take place tomorrow). The Maserati GranSport Light driven by Alberto Cerrai-Diego Alessi did well in starting from the back of the grid and closing out in seventh out of thirty cars who finished the race.
On the podium came Ceccato-Livio (Dodge Viper), Duqueine-Reid (Dodge Viper) and Rabineau-Ruffier (Corvette). The other two Maseratis had an unlucky time of it and were forced to retire after two accidents. Race 2 will take place tomorrow, (Sunday 2 July) at 12. Diego Alessi's GranSport Light will start from 13th, Lorenzo Casè from 15th, and Andrea Palma on 23rd.
