Leapmotor in Motion: Open Space and Test Drive Area Highlight Brand’s Urban Mobility Vision at IAA

Munich, Germany – September 9–14, 2025 — Leapmotor is making a bold statement at IAA Mobility 2025, with a strong presence both at Messe München and across downtown Munich. The event marks a pivotal moment for the brand –the World Premiere of the B05 and the commercial launch of the Leapmotor B10 – with a major leap forward in Leapmotor’s global expansion and its ongoing evolution in intelligent electric mobility.

Leapmotor’s dynamic presence at the Munich IAA Mobility 2025, showcases its innovative spirit and electric mobility leadership across three distinct areas: the Messe exhibition B3 Hall, the Open Space and the Test Drive Area in downtown Munich.

At the Messe on September 8^th, Leapmotor unveiled the World Premiere of the B05 and started the commercial launch of the Leapmotor B10, offering immersive experience into the brand’s design philosophy, technological advancements and future vision. Leapmotor hosted a press conference, International media interviews and roundtable discussions and provided insights into Leapmotor’s strategic direction and technological advancements.

Starting September 9^th, Leapmotor moves to downtown Munich, with 2 different locations and activations. A dedicated Open Space in Ludwigstraße 16 to bring its vehicles directly to the heart of the city, engaging with urban audiences in a vibrant, interactive setting. This area highlights Leapmotor’s commitment to accessibility, lifestyle integration and the celebration of individuality through mobility: the new B10 C-SUV, designed for a new generation of drivers who prioritize intelligent technology, eco-conscious mobility and modern aesthetics, at accessible pricing.

The Open Space also features the Leap 3.5 Architecture Chassis, emphasizing Leapmotor’s dedication to cutting-edge engineering and modular scalability. This new platform introduces the world’s most compact and unified central domain control system, combining cockpit and driving functionalities through a remarkably best in class short 996-meter wiring harness. It supports up to 22 ECU units and over 200 open-source interfaces.

At the Leapmotor booth in Ludwigstraße during IAA Mobility 2025, visitors were invited to experience the thrill of the Leapmotor Speed-Challenge, a dynamic table tennis competition inspired by the concept of “China Speed”. Held on September 9 from 15:00 to 20:00, the challenge was organized in collaboration with myTischtennis, Germany’s largest online table tennis platform. More than 1.000 people took part in the speed challenge at the open space to test their reflexes and precision by attempting to send a 40-millimeter plastic ball over the net as fast and accurately as possible.

At Leapmotor’s Open Space in Munich, visitors can also explore the Free2move Charge ecosystem, a smart and innovative charging solution designed to empower Leapmotor drivers. This system makes staying charged simple and seamless, offering integrated services that support everyday electric mobility with convenience and reliability.

The second city-center Leapmotor location is the downtown Munich Test Drive Area, to get behind the wheel and experience Leapmotor’s precision engineering and electric performance firsthand. From agile handling to intelligent features, the test drives offer a real-world glimpse into the future of driving.
