Unveiled the third image of the New Lancia Ypsilon

"The New Lancia Ypsilon will be the first model equipped with S.A.L.A. (Sound Air Light Augmentation) infotainment, an intuitive and effortless technology in perfect Lancia style to make life on board easier. S.A.L.A enables the driver and the passenger to adapt the in-car environment, simply by touching a button or with the sound of their voice, centralizing audio, climate control and lighting functions”, stated Luca Napolitano, Lancia brand CEO.
The third image of the New Lancia Ypsilon was unveiled today.
Featuring the innovative S.A.L.A. (Sound Air Light Augmentation), the chosen name for the infotainment of future Lancia vehicles, with the aim of simplifying the digital experience for Lancia customers, making them feel at home wherever they go.
In Italian, SALA means living room, but here, it stands for Sound Air Light Augmentation, a technology that represents the crucial parameters for creating a comfortable driving experience in perfect Lancia style.
SALA infotainment operates on a fully customizable, widget-based system. It features two standard HD screens, with the homepage serving as a centralized control panel for Sound, Air and Light. This setup allows an effortless personalization of the car's atmosphere.
This is the third teasing image leading up to the reveal of the New Lancia Ypsilon, scheduled for February 2024, through the exclusive NEW LANCIA YPSILON CASSINA LIMITED EDITION. With a 100% BEV engine, available in 1906 numbered and certified units, the model represents the first concrete step in the brand's Renaissance journey, with a clear and ambitious electrification strategy, in line with the Stellantis “Dare Forward” strategic plan and supported by Free2move Charge in a 360° integrated charging ecosystem.
