The Lancia Ypsilon B-colore has its world preview in Paris
The new versions of the Lancia Ypsilon, which were presented with the project name ‘B-Kini’ and will go on the market in October with the definitive name ‘B-colore’ make their debut at the 76th International Paris Motor Show. The original ‘two-tone livery’ is the real novelty of a model that has collected more than 100,000 orders in Europe since October 2003, and is one of the top three best selling Segment B cars in Italy.
To strengthen this leadership and to indulge a refined clientele that appreciates Italian styling, Lancia is presenting two Ypsilon B-colore in Paris, both with the Argento specification. The top half of the first, including the tailgate, is ‘clothed’ in warm, seductive Guttuso Red, with sophisticated Paganini Ivory below. The interiors are also extremely stylish, combining the softness and elegance of leather with the class of Glamour fabric, with a mix of colours that matches the exterior perfectly.
The bodywork of the second Ypsilon B-colore is elegant and sophisticated, in pastel shades, with Paganini Ivory for the bottom half and exclusive pearlescent Caravaggio Brown for the top half. It is a timeless combination, repeated delicately in the interior which is furnished in the same colours. The Glamour fabric of the upholstery has a backing similar to that of oil cloth, a ‘technical’ material that harks back to the waterproof clothing used at sea, combined with a ‘warm’ fabric that takes on different shades: ivory, black, red and yellow.
Original, elegant bodywork, lavish exclusive equipment: both Lancia Ypsilon B-colore feature the sparkling 70 bhp 1.3 Multijet engine and the D.F.N. (‘Dolce Far Niente’) gearbox, and are equipped with dual zone climate control, a Bose Hi-fi system, cruise control, 16” alloys, leather-covered steering wheel and gear lever knob, and radio controls on the steering wheel.
And finally, there is a third Ypsilon B-colore, which is not at the Show but is offered in the range, which proposes the interior upholstered in the same exclusive Glamour fabric, but in a combination of magnesium and brown. This colour scheme blends perfectly with the exterior lines that are set off by Rossini Grey at the bottom, and the new Caravaggio Brown at the top. The end result is a new, decisive colour contrast, that is simply irresistible.
The three exclusive Lancia Ypsilon B-colore will be on sale in Italy from October, and in the other European countries soon after.
