Lancia is entering a new phase of its development with an evolution of its leadership structure fully aligned with the strategy presented by Stellantis on May 21 at Investor Day 2026 and with the launch of the FaSTLAne 2030 strategic plan.

As announced on that occasion, Stellantis is evolving the management of its brand portfolio, with Lancia set to develop in closer integration with FIAT, with the aim of leveraging synergies, scale and efficiency while continuing to preserve the brand’s identity, Italian character and distinctive positioning.

In this context, Arnaud Belloni has been appointed CEO of the FIAT, Abarth and Lancia brands and Chief Marketing Officer for Europe, reporting to Emanuele Cappellano, COO Enlarged Europe.

Belloni brings extensive international experience in the automotive industry and deep expertise in brand and marketing strategy. He returns to Stellantis after previously spending 16 years within the Group, where he held senior roles overseeing the marketing strategies of its Italian and French brands. He subsequently joined Renault Group, where he served as Global Chief Marketing Officer from November 2020 and, from May 2023, as Chief Branding Officer for all Group brands.

In his new role, Belloni will lead the strategic direction of Lancia alongside FIAT and Abarth, ensuring consistency across brand, product and marketing strategy and guiding Lancia through the next phase of its development.

Gaetano Thorel, currently responsible for FIAT and Abarth within Enlarged Europe Commercial Operations, will also assume responsibility for Lancia in the Enlarged Europe region, with a functional reporting line to Arnaud Belloni.

The expansion of his responsibilities will further strengthen commercial coordination among the three brands across Europe, while continuing to enhance Lancia’s specific character, identity and distinctive customer proposition.

Roberta Zerbi, who has led Lancia through a crucial phase of its relaunch and development, will focus on Customer Journey Excellence and Network Development, bringing to this strategic area the experience she has gained in brand management, commercial operations and customer experience.

Olivier François, who has played a central role in shaping the strategy of FIAT and Abarth, as well as more broadly in building brand identity and communications, will work alongside Arnaud Belloni until mid-October to ensure an effective and fully coordinated transition. He will subsequently continue to support Stellantis as a strategic advisor, making his extensive experience in brand management, marketing and communications available to the Group.

This organizational evolution comes at a particularly important moment for Lancia. Following the launch and development of the new Ypsilon family, the brand is now preparing for the commercial introduction of the new Lancia Gamma, designed, developed and built in Italy at the Stellantis plant in Melfi.

Lancia
With 119 years of history, Lancia is one of the most iconic names in Italian motoring. Long synonymous with elegance, innovation and distinctive character, the brand has created models that have become part of the collective imagination, from the Aurelia B24 Spider to the Flaminia, from the Fulvia to the Beta HPE, and on to the Stratos, 037 and Delta, which wrote some of the most memorable chapters in motorsport history.

Today, Lancia is entering a new phase in its journey, built on a strong Italian identity and a contemporary vision of the brand. The new Ypsilon marked the beginning of this chapter, followed by the brand’s official return to rallying and the arrival of the new Gamma, designed, developed and built in Italy at the Stellantis plant in Melfi. Design, innovation, customer experience and a strong focus on sustainability are driving Lancia’s evolution, with the ambition of reinterpreting for today the values that have always defined the brand’s unique character.
