The fifth edition of the Rally Meeting, the world’s biggest annual event dedicated to the world of motorsport, will take place from February 8th to 9th. Organized by two-time World Rally Champion Miki Biasion and hosted in the halls of the Vicenza Expo Center, the high-octane event will allow guests to experience the thrill of road and off-road racing up close, meet the world’s best drivers, and discover the latest developments in the sector.
The Lancia brand will be taking part in the event in an official capacity and showcasing its most recent creations — the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, the 280-HP Ypsilon HF, and the Ypsilon LX — which are sure to catch the eye of the event’s guests. In particular, the brand-new race car, which marks Lancia’s return to the rally world, is sure to get the pulses racing of the many fans who still remember the legendary feats reached by Lancia drivers and their contributions to some of the most incredible chapters in world motorsport history.
Equipped with a 212-HP, 1.2 Turbo engine, a SADEV 5-speed gearbox, and adjustable Ohlin shock absorbers, the bold Ypsilon Rally 4 HF offers young emerging talents with a chance at greatness thanks to the Lancia Trophy, the competition which features six races in the 2025 Italian Rally Championship and over €300,000 in prize money. At the Lancia stand set up at the 2025 Rally Racing Meeting, aspiring drivers will be able to find out everything there is to know about the high-octane trophy, which will allow the overall winner to participate in the 2026 European Rally Championship with the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF of the official Lancia Corse HF team.
The spotlight will also be on the New Ypsilon LX, the most fully loaded version in the range, and the bold 280-HP Ypsilon HF, the high-performance road version of the first vehicle in the brand’s new era, which is set to debut on the market halfway through the year. With 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in less than 5.7 seconds, the Ypsilon HF combines superior performance with a design inspired by the most radical vehicles from Lancia’s past, including a lowered suspension and a widened wheel track.
Notably, for the fine-tuning of the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF models and the 280-HP Ypsilon HF, the brand looked to Miki Biasion, a true motorsports legend who, between the 80s and 90s, became inextricably linked to Lancia and went on to become the most successful Italian driver in history. Behind the wheel of the iconic Delta of the Martini Racing team, Biasion won the 1988 and 1989 World Championships, helping Lancia become the most successful brand ever with ten World Constructors’ Championships, three Constructors’ and Endurance World Championships, one 1000 Miglia, two Targa Florio, and one Carrera Panamericana.
Furthermore, the public at the 2025 Rally Racing Meeting will be able to admire all of the brand-new showcase of Lancia models which have taken part in motorsport competitions since 1920, providing unforgettable moments to fans of the Italian brand and international motorsport. Four of these iconic vehicles are part of the haloed Stellantis Heritage collection, the Group’s department which preserves, safeguards, and promotes the invaluable heritage of the Italian car brands. The models on display will include the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF “Alitalia” (winner of the 1976 Portugal Rally), the Lancia D50 F.1 (1954), the Lancia D25 (1954), and the Lancia ECV2 (1988).
Lastly, outside the expo center, it will be possible to watch demonstration exhibitions on circuits constructed for the occasion and see the best drivers in action in the exciting Italian Drifting Championship. In short, the event has everything you need to safely enjoy a weekend dedicated to motorsport passion.
