69th GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: LANCIA DELTA
A Sun yellow Lancia Delta HPE 2.0 HF is also exhibited on the stand, a car whose performance and temperament appeal to sportier customers.
The 16v turbo engine delivers decidedly boisterous power: 193 bhp-142 kW at 5,500 rpm, and 29.6 kgm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Performance is truly sparkling: the Lancia Delta HPE 2.0 HF reaches a top speed of 225 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The styling of the car is equally personal and assertive without detracting from the elegance typical of all Lancia cars. The Delta HPE 2.0 HF comes with sporty bumpers, spoiler, sideskirts (body-coloured), 16" alloy wheels and 215 mm tyres as standard equipment. The interior reflects the aggressive lines of the exterior. The Delta HPE 2.0 HF is fitted with Recaro sports seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara®. The options include controlled damping suspension, which are a guarantee of maximum safety and outstanding comfort.
The range is completed by the Lancia Delta 5-door, which offers a more elegant and refined interpretation of the model.
In addition to the 2.0 HF turbo engine, which is only available on the HPE, the Lancia Delta range comes with a choice of three other engines: the 1.9 turbodiesel (90 bhp-66 kW), the 1.6 16v (103 bhp-76 kW) and the 1.8 16v V.V.T. (variable valve timing) with variable geometry inlet ports (130 bhp-96 kW).
