  • With its new line-up, New Jeep Compass offers drivers more choice than ever in terms of propulsion, drive, and power output

A bold new step into the future of electrification, innovation, and adventure: Jeep® opens orders for two new Compass versions, which add to the model's existing powertrain line-up.

At the core of Jeep’s product strategy is the “freedom of choice” concept, embodied by the development of multi-energy products across the range.

Fabio Catone, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, said: “Freedom has always inspired us. It’s imprinted in the essence of our iconic brand: freedom to move, to change, to choose. The new Compass 4xe proves electric can be uncompromisingly Jeep, providing full capability and full freedom.”

New Jeep Compass: a pillar of Jeep’s global growth
New Jeep Compass is a global vehicle designed in Torino and produced in Melfi (Italy). With over 2.5 million units sold worldwide since 2006, it is one of the most successful Jeep models ever.

The new 4xe further expands the appeal of the model by bringing to the market new high-performance and high-capability versions.

375 hp full-electric 4xe: the pinnacle of capability
The new Compass 4xe, the top of the line-up with 375 hp and all-wheel drive capability, is based on a dual-motor electric architecture for full traction control on each axle. It adopts two separate EDMs with maximum power of 157 kW at the front and 132 kw at the rear. This second motor has been specifically developed for Jeep, and enables the highest power output and torque for a vehicle built on the STLA Medium platform.

Powered by a battery with 96.1 kWh usable energy storage, the system offers a combined WLTP range of more than 600 km with very short charging times (20 to 80% in 27 minutes only).

231 hp BEV Long Range: more miles with no recharge
To allow electric range up to 674 km, Compass Long-Range BEV introduces a new, high-performance Lithium-Ion battery. Thanks to 12 modules and 192 cells, this battery offers 96.3 kWh usable energy and is rechargeable 20 to 80% in 27 minutes. This is due to high capacity, longer high-power charging times, and state-of-the-art battery functions such as predictive preconditioning.

Greater energy availability translates into increased Electric Drive Motor performance, due to a new calibration that delivers peak power of 170 kW (231 hp).

Jeep Compass 4xe: the all-wheel drive capability model
The champion of offroad prowess in the line-up, new Jeep Compass 4xe adopts a 10mm higher suspension scheme for better ground clearance and improved offroad performance (28° approach angle, 17° breakover angle, 31° departure angle, up to 480 mm water fording depth).

The dual motor architecture ensures outstanding traction. The new Jeep Compass 4xe delivers up to 3,100 Nm at the rear wheels thanks to the coupling of the rear motor to a 14:1 reductor. This gives maximum traction in the most challenging situations, and the ability to climb a 20% slope with zero traction on the front wheels.

The modular bumper is made of black mold-in material to protect the body paintwork: a functional detail that also enhances the model’s bold look.

Some of the most distinctive updates are found inside the cabin. Interiors are designed specifically for off-road use, with materials and solutions that prioritize durability, practicality, and comfort in all conditions. The polyurethane-coated seat fabric is twice as durable as conventional cloth, and easier to clean. The rear seatbacks feature an anti-scratch surface especially suited for pet owners or those who transport gear frequently. Floor protection is reinforced by heavy-duty rubber mats that provide superior protection from mud, water, and debris.

New Jeep Compass 4xe: features and trims
Level 2 autonomous driving and the Jeep Selec-Terrain® system are standard on all Compass versions.

With the Jeep Selec-Terrain system featured on Compass 4xe, drivers can choose among five driving modes: AUTO, SPORT, SNOW, SAND/MUD, and 4WD LOCK (specific to the 4xe version). All modes integrate the Electronic Stability Program.

  • AUTO mode offers the best balance between performance and comfort, using 90% of peak power with normal steering calibration and a balanced shift strategy.
  • SPORT mode enhances responsiveness with 100% of peak power, overboost, sport-tuned steering calibration, and performance-focused ESP and shift settings (with level 2 ADAS active).
  • For slippery surfaces, SNOW driving mode provides 80% of maximum power for smoother traction, combining the SPORT steering setup with dedicated ESP calibration.
  • When facing rough or gravel terrain, SAND/MUD mode maximizes grip by delivering 100% of available power with overboost, sport steering, and terrain-specific calibrations for ESP and gear shifting.
  • Finally, the 4WD LOCK engages traction on both axles for maximum capability on the most rugged trails.

New Jeep Compass 4xe is available in two trim levels.

  • The 4xe UPLAND offers Hill Descent Control as standard, 19” wheels with M+S standard tires, rear tow hook, front fog lights and roof rails, all coupled with dedicated interior in “tan” finishing.
  • The 4xe OVERLAND completes the offer with dedicated 19” diamond cut wheels, backlit 7-slot grille with matrix LED standard, matt black front fascia, privacy glass, and ultra-robust upholstery.

New Jeep Compass: features and trims
The new Jeep Compass BEV Long Range is offered in the same trim levels as the BEV Standard Range, e-Hybrid and e-Hybrid Plug-in versions: ALTITUDE, BUSINESS and SUMMIT.

  • The ALTITUDE trim is equipped as standard with 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch on BEV and e-Hybrid Plug-in), full LED headlights, climate control, 0.25-inch digital cluster, and a 16-inch infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity.

  • The BUSINESS trim features 360-degree camera, front, rear and side parking sensors, wireless smartphone charging, and additional ADAS including Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

  • The SUMMIT trim, at the top of the range, adds LED Matrix headlights, up to 20-inch wheels (19-inch on e-Hybrid), backlit 7-slot grille with LED Matrix headlights, heated seating, power-adjustable seats, customizable ambient lighting, and windshield defroster.

New Jeep Compass: model summary
Based on the cutting-edge Stellantis STLA Medium platform, Compass is designed to accommodate any propulsion solution and specifically tailored to support electrification.

Suspension tuning with new springs, dampers and antiroll bar grants perfect balance between off-road capability and seamless daily usability.

Compass offers a particularly space-efficient formula: it is one of the most compact vehicles in its category – and the same time it offers remarkable interior space and versatility: the extended wheelbase allows more leg room and up to 550 liters of luggage space, with multiple storage compartments adding 34 more litres in the cabin. A 7,700 square cm sunroof can also be specified for a true “open air” experience.

For the Jeep Design team, capability is ingrained into the process. Based on the “design to function” concept, Compass is made to deliver the bold looks you expect from a Jeep together with versatility and practicality. Extensive protection is provided by 360-degree lower-body cladding. All this while maintaining good aero performance (0.29 drag coefficient).

New Jeep Compass is the perfect demonstration of how design can be contemporary and trendy, yet true to the brand and fully inspired by its iconic personality. One example is the interpretation of the seven-slot grille, a distinctive Jeep signature that is now backlit on both Compass and Avenger.

Jeep: renewal of the entire line-up in the two best-selling European segments
In less than one year, JEEP fully renovated its offering in the two most important European segments – B-SUV and C-SUV. Following the launch of the new Compass in 2025, sales for the new Avenger opened last May with BEV, e-Hybrid, and ICE versions, as well as the 4xe all-wheel drive model. new Compass e-Hybrid Plug-In is already available to order, and today, the new 4xe and Full-Electric Long Range versions come to complete the model’s line-up.
