  • The Jeep brand is main partner for The North Face® 's major events in 2015, including the exhilarating "The North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail" which took place last June in the Dolomites.

Next up, Jeep® is presenting partner of The North Face® 's major new international event dedicated to outdoor sports and activities: " The North Face®  NightRay Outdoor Fest 2015", an exclusive event which will take place on the night between 12 and 13 September in the Verdon Gorges, a magnificent river canyon in Provence.

Conceived for lovers of nature and outdoor activities, the event offers to the expected 500 participants an enormous variety of very different activities, from yoga to trail running, and from climbing to night hiking. Taking place from dusk to dawn, the festival will kick off at sundown and will be over at 10.30 the following day. 15 The North Face® athletes from different countries will lead participants through a variety of activities dedicated to exploring the great outdoors in a breathtaking location visited every year by thousands of tourists, drawn by one of Europe's most stunning river gorges.

The festival is a celebration of the spirit of adventure, involving a passionate and enterprising public which shares the same passion for exploration as The North Face® . The same values are also expressed by the legendary Jeep brand's models, which transform ordinary driving experiences into extraordinary adventures under all possible kinds of conditions.

Always associated with a daring and unconventional lifestyle, Jeep will offer the festival's participants a series of special activities where they can live the Jeep Experience in Verdon. The brand will make two Jeep cars available for adrenalin-charged test drives on an obstacle course, while a fleet of nine Jeep SUVs will facilitate movement between one place and another, offering participants unique experiences both on-road and off.

The models selected for this occasion are the Wrangler and the Renegade, two iconic cars capable of challenging the most impervious areas by exploiting the legendary abilities of "the most awarding-winning SUV range of all time." The Renegade, in particular, expresses a new way of interpreting the Jeep spirit of freedom: it offers the best off-road performance in its category but harnessed with a charismatic design personality which is both versatile and ultra-functional. Likewise, the iconic Jeep Wrangler gets past all obstacles thanks to its two-speed 'shift-on-the fly' Command-Trac NV241 part-time all-wheel drive system: this makes it possible to choose the desired type of drive at any moment, according to the terrain, and it is also a good fuel-saver.

In other words, emotion and pleasure will not be lacking at "The North Face® NightRay Outdoor Fest 2015", just as with the "Lavaredo Ultra Trail" event held last June in the Dolomites. On that occasion, Fernanda Maciel - The North Face® global ultra runner as well as a Jeep Ambassador - was placed third in the women's category, with over 1,000 athletes taking part in the spectacular race through the Dolomites.

The entire experience will be recounted on the Jeep-People web and social channels:
