TURIN, 23 June 2026 - The Festival Car International Concours d’Elegance returns on 26 and 27 September 2026. Launched in 2022 from an idea by Federico Ferrero and the Autoappassionati.it team, the event - listed on the FIVA international calendar and awarded the Spirit of FIVA distinction - transforms the Turin area into an open-air showcase for historic cars.
The fifth edition introduces a new two-day format. On Saturday 26 September, collectors will enjoy an experience through the Langhe and the Fondazione Macaluso, followed by a gala dinner in the Diplomatic Hall of Castello Cavour in Santena. On Sunday 27 September, the traditional Tour d’Elegance will set off, for the first time, from the majestic English-style park of Castello Cavour, a national monument, before reaching the village of Revigliasco Torinese, home to the Concours.
At the cultural heart of the 2026 edition is its connection with the Heritage Hub in Turin, where Stellantis preserves and promotes a fundamental part of Italian automotive history, creating a dialog between past, present and future. This evocative venue can be visited every day except Mondays, by purchasing an online ticket at the following link, with the option of choosing between a self-guided tour on weekdays and a guided tour at weekends.
The three Lancia models featured on the poster and in the September exhibition come directly from the prestigious Heritage Hub collection: the 1931 Lancia Artena, the 1951 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT and the 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24. Conceived and created by Pininfarina and its Centro Stile, the poster is a true work of art that explores the meaning of “Granturismo”, combining Lancia elegance with Pininfarina’s styling mastery along an ideal “Pininfarina Line”. Usually preserved at the Heritage Hub, these three milestones of Italian design pay fitting tribute to the iconic Lancia brand, which this year celebrates the 120th anniversary of its foundation.
The fifth edition was officially presented on the evening of 18 June before an audience of more than 200 people, including collectors, stakeholders and specialist media, introducing a new two-day format. The Festival Car organization chose to unveil these new features in the magnificent setting of the Heritage Hub, selected not merely as a backdrop, but as a place of excellence and a true temple preserving Italian automotive history.
Bearing witness to the project’s great cultural value and its deep connection with the local area, the official ceremony was attended by leading figures. Speakers included Federico Ferrero, founder of Festival Car; Roberto Giolito, Head of Heritage Hub Italy; and Paolo Dellachà, Chief Executive Officer of Pininfarina.
The new programme will offer participants an unforgettable weekend. On Saturday 26 September, collectors will enjoy an exclusive experience through the Langhe and the Fondazione Macaluso, culminating in an evocative gala dinner in the Diplomatic Hall of Castello Cavour in Santena. On Sunday 27 September, the traditional Tour d’Elegance will set off for the first time from the majestic English-style park of Castello Cavour, recognized as a national monument, before winding its way to the picturesque village of Revigliasco Torinese, the nerve center of the Concours.
Further enriching this fifth edition, in addition to the models immortalised on the poster, Lancia will play a leading role at the event in celebration of its 120 years of history. The brand will display symbolic cars from its glorious past, including a Lancia Appia Zagato preserved by the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile, the one-off Lancia Kayak belonging to the ASI-Bertone collection, and the historic Lancia Beta 190 brought by the Fondazione Marazzato. Creating a direct link between the brand’s great sporting tradition and its future outlook will be the public presentation of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF. This car marks the brand’s official return to motorsport, recalling the legendary triumphs achieved in the World Rally Championship by undisputed icons such as the Lancia Stratos, Lancia 037 and Lancia Delta Integrale.
The celebration of Italian automotive excellence will see the joint participation of Stellantis’ Italian brands - Alfa Romeo, FIAT and Lancia - as official partners of the event. The three brands strongly believe in this event, considering it a key moment to promote Italian know-how and share with the public the common values of elegance, innovation and great automotive passion that have always distinguished them.
Alfa Romeo will pay tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Spider Duetto by displaying all four generations of the celebrated model. This exceptional setting will also feature the Pininfarina 2uettottanta concept car, developed specifically on the mechanical basis of the Alfa Romeo Spider.
For its part, FIAT - a brand whose history is deeply intertwined with Italian style and culture around the world - will support Festival Car in enhancing a historical heritage made up of beauty and technical innovation, confirming how the elegance of the past remains a constant source of inspiration. The historic presence linked to the Turin-based brand will also be brought to life by the Fondazione Marazzato, which will make available to the public a vintage FIAT 414 Scall bus, to be used for special panoramic hill tours with a retro flavour.
Roberto Giolito, Head of Heritage Hub Italy, stated: “Festival Car confirms its status as an event of great cultural value, capable of presenting the automobile not only as an object of design and innovation, but as a historical heritage to be preserved and shared. This vision is deeply aligned with the mission of the Heritage Hub in Turin. For us, this edition of the Festival takes on an even more special meaning, as it coincides with the celebrations for Lancia’s 120th anniversary - a brand that has made a decisive contribution to the evolution of automotive engineering, style and culture at an international level. It is a source of great pride to see our three precious Lancia cars, created by master coachbuilder Pinin Farina, take center stage at an event that is becoming increasingly relevant and loved by historic motoring enthusiasts.”
Lancia Artena Cabriolet
It is impossible not to be captivated by a gem such as the Lancia Artena Cabriolet from the Heritage Hub collection, greatly admired for its original two-tone bodywork - black mudguards and burgundy body - and its elegant cream-colored fabric soft top. This example is among the first models designed by Battista “Pinin” Farina, later to become Pininfarina, who had opened his atelier in 1929 also thanks to the financial support of Vincenzo Lancia. The car stands out for the longevity of its mechanics and the robustness of the model: suffice it to say that it could safely cover as many as 100,000 kilometers without requiring any overhauls. Beyond its engineering, the Artena also stood out for its innovative design solutions, as demonstrated by the mechanical system used to open and close the soft top: a true exclusive feature for its time.
Lancia Aurelia B20
The Lancia Aurelia B20 was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show on 2 April 1951 and immediately pioneered a previously unknown formula: a 2+2 Gran Turismo car with occasional rear seats. Its lines are a masterpiece by Pininfarina, harmonious and perfect. Thanks also to its brilliant V6 engine - the first in automotive history and born from the genius of engineer Francesco De Virgilio - as well as its well-balanced chassis and independent suspension, the car has a refined yet dynamic presence. The example in the Heritage Hub, extremely elegant with its black bodywork combined with gray Lancia cloth interior, is one of the 500 first-series units produced in 1951 and still features right-hand drive. Indeed, although many cars between the 1950s and 1960s had already adopted the solution still used today in most countries, Lancia remained attached to tradition. The brand would change its approach later, starting with the Lancia Appia.
Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider
In 1954, Pininfarina clothed the B20 mechanicals in an equally elegant spider body, which, thanks to its lines, immediately enjoyed great success on the American market. By shortening the chassis of the fourth-series B20 and making only a few modifications to its 2,451 cc six-cylinder engine, required solely to adapt it to a lower engine bay, one of the most beautiful spiders of all time was born: the Aurelia B24 Spider. Inspired by prestigious Riva motorboats, one of the first elements to stand out is undoubtedly the panoramic windscreen - a window onto the world - a detail that gives the car a unique personality. Its refined and “clean” look is also defined by the wing-shaped bumpers, the handle-free doors, clean and elegant in their design, and the wind-down windows. Combining elegance, sportiness and innovation, the Aurelia B24 Spider was built in a total of 240 units.
