The Fiat PanDAKAR at the Lisbon inspections

The technical inspections were held in Lisbon today for the cars taking part in the Dakar 2007 Rally, which include two Fiat Panda Cross’s, renamed PanDAKARs for the occasion.

Miki Biasion and Tiziano Siviero will be competing with number 348, while Bruno Saby and Rudy Briani will have no. 349. The IVECO Eurocargo truck driven by Livio Diamante, Giorgio Albiero and Nicola Montecchio will sport no. 557.

The Dakar rally will set off on Saturday, January 6, terminating in the Senegalese capital on January 21, after 15 legs, which will take it through Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Senegal.
