Fiat Marea at the 29th Barcelona Motor Show

The Fiat Marea is a compact, well-proportioned three-box saloon with oceans of interior space thanks to a length of 4.39 metres and width of 1.74 metres. Three model versions are present at the Barcelona Motor Show: two are petrol-driven: a 1.6 unit with automatic transmission, a 2.0 and a 124 bhp 2.4 turbodiesel. The same engine is fitted to the Fiat Marea Weekend on show in Barcelona. This model owes its success to its highly individual personality. It is quite different from the saloon, even in stylistic terms. Its huge load capacity sets it at the top of its category.
