A proud supporter of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity (WMHF) and the sustainable values it shares with FIAT, Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis CMO, participated in the event’s “Sustainability and Enterprise: being good pays off” roundtable.

“As automakers, we must change our approach and galvanize the shift to EVs to contribute to the creation of a more sustainable world. For us at FIAT, ‘change’ is founded upon two big ideas: redefining what an electric car should be and altering the world through beauty,” commented Olivier Francois.  “The Fiat 500e is the perfect example of this approach and the ideal city car to help us achieve cleaner urban mobility, greater democracy in parking and accessing city centers, and more silence in crowded streets. The conversion will start in our congested cities and, to get the job done, it is time to benefit from the iconic 500’s popularity and commitment to a higher purpose. This is why the Fiat 500e aspires to be as ethical as it is practical from both an environmental and a social perspective. In fact, we’ve decided to produce the Fiat (500e)RED as well, which is not a reference to the color but to the famous charitable organization. We will not overcome climate change issues through a sense of duty; instead, we need beauty, emotion, and fun to inspire a sense of duty and electrify motion, because driving electric vehicles is positively contagious, magical, and ethical and capable of giving the planet a break while we seek to protect the ‘Vita’ in our ‘La Dolce Vita’.”
