- October statistics from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) show the Fiat 500 with the most registrations overall.
- Fiat 500e once again ranked first in the segment.
- FIAT increases the number of registrations in the period from January to October by 9.9 percent compared to the previous year.
Declaration of love to Italy: In October, more Fiat 500s were newly registered in Germany than of the domestic models normally at the top of this hit parade. In addition, the Fiat 500e took first place in the A/B segment among battery-electric vehicles (BEVs). This is according to the monthly statistics of the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
German customers registered 5,401 new Fiat 500s in October. This corresponds to an increase of around 17 percent compared to the previous month. Overall, the FIAT brand recorded a 9.9 percent increase in registrations in the first ten months compared to the same period in 2022.
Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO, commented: "Seeing the iconic 500 take the absolute top spot in the German market marks history. Germany is the cradle of the car, and German customers are among the most demanding and expert when it comes to cars. They have a strong tradition and world-recognized domestic manufacturers, but they love Italy, which is world-renowned for fashion, culture, and Dolce Vita. By choosing our icon they wanted to take home a piece of this land, which the 500 perfectly embodies by showing their love and passion. Moreover, FIAT's mission is to offer sustainable urban mobility to everyone, and evidently this also meets the needs of our German customers."
