Bravo and Brava at the 57th Frankfurt Motor Show

The versions of the two models on display at Frankfurt are the Fiat Bravo 1.4 12v SX, the Fiat Bravo 2.0 20v HGT and the Fiat Brava 1.6 16v SX and 1.8 16v ELX.
Developed as a single project, the two vehicles owe their success with the European public to strongly differentiated characters, the Fiat Bravo being a sporty compact three-door hatchback offering strong performance, while the Fiat Brava is a practical, spacious and comfortable five-door saloon.
Much of their success is also due to new standards of excellence that both models have set in a sector, that accounts for approximately 30% of sales on the European market.
In short, they're both distinctively unusual cars despite belonging to segment C. Designs which stand out clearly from the classic canons of "medium" vehicles due to their technical innovations, styling, colours, equipment and high standards of quality and safety.
The Fiat Bravo is available in 10 versions in Italy, with petrol and diesel engines that start at 1370 cc and extend to 1998 cc with four equipment levels. The same goes for the Fiat Brava, offering 10 versions with petrol or diesel engines of 1370 cc to 1910 cc and four equipment levels. Fiat Marea and Fiat Marea Weekend

These vehicles distinguish themselves above all for their elegant lines, styling, and comfort. The complete range comprises six engines, including three turbodiesels. The vehicles displayed on the stand are the Fiat Marea 1.8 16v ELX, Fiat Marea Weekend 1.6 16v SX and 2.0 20v HLX - all with petrol engines.
This selection is representative of the many different versions in which this model, available as both a saloon and station wagon, is offered to the public, delivering qualities one would only normally expect in higher-segment cars. The outstanding attributes of the Marea and Marea Weekend include, in particular, their quality characteristics, safety, respect for the environment, low running costs, driving pleasure, excellent engine performance and wide range of customising options.
Confirming the latter, the many options offered by the Lineaccessori dedicated specifically to the Fiat Marea are exemplified at Frankfurt in the package of leisure accessories mounted on the Weekend 1.6 16v SX.
Twelve versions of the Fiat Marea are offered in Italy with engine displacements from 1.6 to 2.4 (six being petrol engines, all turbocharged). The Fiat Marea Weekend is available in the same number of versions. There are 3 equipment levels for both vehicles: SX, ELX and HLX.
