After the great success of the New 500 “La Prima Launch Edition”, the top of the range returns with the debut of the New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli”

The New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli”, the brand new top-of-the-range version, is back to continue the success of the first generation - the numbered edition already sold out just a few months after the launch in March 2020 - and still the best-selling version of the model: for every three New 500 purchased, one is the exclusive la Prima.

  • Matteo Bocelli’s new single will be the main soundtrack of the collaboration, with his innovative sound and music identity.
  • The new top-of-the-range also offers the new "Sanitizing Glove Box", an innovative content, reaffirming the Italian “Dolce Vita” in the post-Covid19 era.
  • The New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli” offers as standard the successful contents of the first generation: from the Premium “soft-touch” upholstery to the AVAS electric sound composed by Nino Rota, from the Fiat Monogram Capote to the woven dashboard.
  • The New 500 is the best-selling Stellantis electric model and the most purchased electric car in Europe in the city-car segment.

 

The New 500 “La Prima by Bocelli” is the first city car in the world equipped with JBL “Virtual Venues” technology, which provides an unmatched audio experience. Indeed, as standard, the new version of this iconic and top-of-the-line FIAT uniquely features JBL Premium Audio mastered by Bocelli: extremely refined, 320 W premium audio system, in both build and performance, that is simple and intuitive to use. It is perfectly integrated into the car without any impact on the interior or trunk space. In order to make the JBL sound system perfectly bespoke to the vehicle, FIAT called upon the experience of Maestro Andrea Bocelli, the most popular living tenor in the world, and chose as soundtrack of the communication campaign, the upcoming new single of Matteo Bocelli.

The New 500 la Prima by Bocelli        

For its debut on the world stage, the New 500 la Prima by Bocelli is dressed for opening night at the opera, wearing a refined black livery and offers as standard the innovative “Sanitizing Glove Box”. The device integrates a UV-C lamp inside the dashboard glove compartment to increase the hygiene of the surface of the small personal goods (such as your smartphone, door keys, and other small everyday objects). The customer can activate it by placing the small personal goods in the glove compartment, close the drawer and press the button located in the central console.  The hygienization cycle will require 3 minutes and an external blue indicator and an acoustic signal will inform you when the cycle is completed.

The new “top of the range” also wears various “jewels” of design and technology: the inimitable FIAT Monogram capote in the cabrio version and the 10.25” high-definition touchscreen infotainment system, full LED headlights and 17” diamond-cut alloy wheels, the dedicated “la Prima” badge and premium interiors with woven dashboard and ice beige seats, with the FIAT signature.
The new version features state-of-the-art technology with battery range up to 320 km -WLTP cycle- which goes up to 460 km when used in city traffic. Plus, the New 500 is the first city car with level 2 assisted driving.

The New 500 la Prima by Bocelli can be ordered in 3 bodies, cabrio, hatchback and 3+1, and in 6 body colours (Onyx Black, Rose Gold, Ice White, Mineral Grey, Ocean Green and Celestial Blue).
