JESSICA EDGAR AND LINDSAY BREWER AT THE WHEEL OF THE DS E-TENSE FE25

• Coming from a variety of prestigious racing categories, these experienced drivers completed timed runs in the Gen3 Evo cars entered for Season 12

In line with its deep commitment to inclusion and gender equality, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship today staged a test day dedicated to women, as part of the official pre-season test programme.

Following in the footsteps of Madrid last year, Spain’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia this year hosted 14 female drivers competing in top-level championships (such as F1 Academy, W Series, Super Formula, Indy NXT, GT4) for two track sessions at the wheel of Formula E’s all-electric single-seaters.

For the DS PENSKE team, Lindsay Brewer and Jessica Edgar took over the DS E-TENSE FE25 cars usually driven by Maximilian Günther and Taylor Barnard. Guided by the Franco-American team, the American Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America driver and her British teammate, a former F1 Academy driver, completed six hours of intense running.

After this week of testing, which was full of learning opportunities, DS Automobiles and its partner PENSKE AUTOSPORT will now head to São Paulo on December 6 for the first race of Season 12.
