Like fashion houses and in the tradition of the French Art of Travel, DS Automobiles is introducing its first Collection. Devised to connect the Brand’s expertise with its areas of expression, the Collection dynamically echoes DS Automobiles’ wish to share with lovers of refinement and technology.

The first DS Automobiles Collection is called ESPRIT DE VOYAGE, sold throughout 2023 on the four continents where the Brand is present: Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.

DS 4 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE: a clear inspiration and a light interior

Based on DS 4 RIVOLI, DS 4 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE introduces exclusive details and a lot of extra standard equipment.

DS 4 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE’s interior introduces an exclusive touch of light, with a special bright shade and unparalleled savoir-faire. Symbolic of escape, the cockpit is cloaked with Pebble Grey on the grain leather seats plus a harmonious new shade of Granite Grey on the side trim and the Nappa leather dashboard trim.

The details emphasise the expertise of the DS Automobiles craftspeople. On the dashboard, ESPRIT DE VOYAGE embossing on special leather illustrates the desire to beam DS Automobiles expertise from Paris. The representation of a map of Europe is drawn by spokes centred around a Clou de Paris, symbolising the starting point and the place where this Collection was dreamt up: the DS DESIGN STUDIO PARIS. The doorsills also feature the ESPRIT DE VOYAGE signature with this iconic map while the edging of the mats introduces a special colour whose grey is in line with the interior.

Outside, on the mirror housings, the laser etched design has been deliberately altered to suggest movement and aerodynamics and, therefore, symbolise travel. The front features gloss black DS WINGS between the DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps and the grille enhanced with chrome highlights. The window surrounds and the boot strip are clad with elegant Gloss Black trim. The 19-inch wheels, called CANNES, are diamond cut with matt lacquer and introduce a new matt Anthracite Grey colour.

Six bodywork colours can be combined with a Perla Nera Black roof: Lacquered Grey with similar coloured flush fitting door handles; Platinum Grey, Crystal Pearl, Perla Nera Black, Pearl White and Velvet Red.

On top of the basic equipment that includes PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY & START, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, DS EXTENDED HEAD UP DISPLAY, DS IRIS SYSTEM infotainment, DS SMART TOUCH, DS DRIVE ASSIST level 2 autonomous driving and the DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps, DS 4 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE adds the Electric Seat Pack with heated, massaging and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, power tailgate, aluminium pedals and acoustic laminated side windows.

DS 4 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE is offered in the plug-in hybrid E-TENSE 225 version, as well as with PureTech 130 petrol and BlueHDi 130 diesel engines. Ordering opens on 8 March, prices starting at 44,550 euros in France.

DS 7 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE : Expressing a desire for freedom

The ESPRIT DE VOYAGE Collection’s French Art of Travel is represented by unique refinement, made out of materials and signature patterns for this Collection. Based on the RIVOLI trim, DS 7 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE stands out with an exclusive light leather interior and an enhanced standard specification.

A legacy of the iconic guillochage embossing by Parisian watchmakers, Clou de Paris signifies the location of DS DESIGN STUDIO PARIS from where spokes stretch out tracing a map of Europe. This design, created for ESPRIT DE VOYAGE, is performed in multiple ways in this Collection.

On the dashboard, the Pearl Grey nappa leather is heat embossed using a technique developed by DS Automobiles craftspeople to give relief to this unique shape. These lines are repeated on the front door sills and logos, as well as on the specially finished door mirror housings.

Light and bright colours feature inside on grain leather seats and nappa leather trim with a Pearl Grey colour specific to this Collection. The mats also get a unique finish with an edging colour that’s been revised to be in perfect harmony with the light tones of the cockpit.

Outside, the ESPRIT DE VOYAGE signature is shown on the doors and the mirror housings have a special laser-etched pattern. The shape is highlighted by the Gloss Black finish on the DS WINGS, window surrounds, roof bars and front valance, combined with a grille that’s also Gloss Black interspersed with chrome highlights. The exclusive 19-inch wheels, called OYAMA, also feature special colour.

Six bodywork colours are offered: Pearl White, Crystal Pearl, Lacquered Grey, Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black and Sapphire Blue.

In addition to standard equipment that includes PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY & START, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, DS IRIS SYSTEM infotainment and DS PIXEL LED VISION 3.0 headlamps, DS 7 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE adds heated, massaging and cooled front seats, adjustable back rests for the rear seats, aluminium pedals, PolyAmbient interior lighting, acoustic laminated side windows and power tailgate with hands-free access.

DS 7 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE is offered as E-TENSE 225 and E-TENSE 4x4 300 plug-in hybrid versions, as well as with a BlueHDi 130 Diesel engine. Ordering opens on 8 March with prices from 52,500 euros in France.
