DS N°4 “STEAL THE SPOTLIGHT” THE NEW ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN STARTING TODAY
From 1st October, DS Automobiles is unveiling a new Brand campaign to mark DS N°4 going on sale. DS EXPERIENCES days, from 10 to 12 October, will enable the public to learn about and test a preview of DS N°4 in France’s 170 DS STORES. Television, press, radio, social networks: the cleverly orchestrated advertising campaign for the launch of DS N°4 will get a large audience.

On the sales launch of DS N°4, DS Automobiles is unveiling a new Brand campaign highlighting the exceptional qualities of its new multi-energy compact hatchback. After DS N°8 and ahead of a future model to be unveiled in the coming months, DS N°4 is at the heart of a programme to launch three new vehicles in 18 months. This enormously powerful news is a unique moment for DS Automobiles, which is seeing an unprecedented wind of change blowing since its creation in 2014.

Following in the footsteps of DS 4, voted Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2022, DS N°4 is the only premium multi-energy compact saloon. Its elegant and athletic shape stands out with a new enlarged grille and a light signature inspired by the DS E-TENSE PERFORMANCE concept car. A beam of light, stretching from the ends of the bumper to the illuminated DS logo, stresses an expressive and avant-garde character.
Beyond its charismatic visual identity, DS N°4 asserts its technical expertise. Its DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps (in ETOILE specification) combine the precision of matrix technology with directional functionality, providing top-class driving comfort and lighting quality.
DS N°4 offers benchmark comfort and enjoys a first-class interior, highlighted by refined details such as the Clous de Paris embossed inserts, the Criollo Brown Nappa leather seats with watchstrap upholstery, Brown Ash wood inserts and pearl pattern stitching. The latter is a DS Automobiles’ identifying stitch and a unique signature in the automotive world. Depending on specification, the interior is adorned with DS fabric and canvas (PALLAS trim) and also Alcantara® (ETOILE trim) which is spread lavishly across the dashboard, door panels and centre console.
The light suits it so well: a sparkling spot on TV
Produced by the agency Bleu Désert, the N°4 advertising film makes the new DS Automobiles creation an icon of French technical refinement. The story starts at dawn, in a Paris that is waking up. Over the rooftops of the capital, shapes orchestrate a game of mirrors to capture the light beam from the Eiffel Tower. Little by little, the reflections multiply, converge and reveal the sculpted lines of DS N°4.
In this ballet of light, the curves are outlined, the light signature comes to life, and DS N°4 lights up with a unique aura. A symbol of the avant-garde, DS N°4 chats with the Iron Lady and finds itself at the top of Montmartre, an iconic place in Paris, the City of Light.

As with DS N°8, DS Automobiles and Marcel have called on Guillaume Alric, alias Enfant Sauvage (from the duo The Blaze), whose original work “Behind the Lines” infuses the film with an electronic intensity that is both refined and powerful.

A comprehensive media plan
The 30-second advertising film - link to the video - will be broadcast from 1st October on all national channels and from 30 September on the main online platforms. At the same time, a large-scale digital campaign will be rolled out from 1st to 31st October, through major press sites and social networks.
With the support of its network of DS STORES, DS Automobiles will also invest in local press and radio stations. The slogan “What if you let yourself be amazed?” will invite the public to experience a test drive of DS N°4 during the DS EXPERIENCES days.
Through this 360° operation, DS Automobiles is targeting a wide audience and creating a strong dynamic around DS N°4, making people want to find out about a hatchback that combines elegance, comfort and technology.
DS N°4 to be seen in DS STORES for the DS EXPERIENCES days
From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 October, all DS STORES in France will open their doors to the general public to unveil DS N°4.
Visitors will be able to explore the range of DS N°4 powertrains, which includes:
- DS N°4 E-TENSE, the 100% electric version with 450 km of range (WLTP combined cycle) and a 58.3kWh battery, combining power and efficiency from a 213 hp powertrain and 343 Nm of torque. Its 11 kW on-board charger is standard, and DC fast charging up to 120 kW allows it to go from 20 to 80 percent battery in just 30 minutes. In concrete terms, this translates into recovering 100 km of WLTP range in 11 minutes. Designed for everyday use, DS N°4 E-TENSE enhances the electric experience with new features: charging stop planning with EV Routing, thermal preconditioning of the battery to optimise charging times, the e-Routes app and e-Remote function for controlling the car remotely.
- DS N°4 PLUG-IN HYBRID, which offers up to 81 km in all-electric mode. With a combined output of 225hp and 360 Nm of torque, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the previous generation.
- DS N°4 HYBRID, a self-charging version with 145 hp combined, which allows you to drive around town for up to 50% of the time in 100% electric mode.
So with its three versions – electric, plug-in hybrid and self-charging hybrid – DS N°4 assures a versatility that is unique in its segment, providing refined, high-performance and sustainable mobility.

- A special weekend, from 10 to 12 October 2025, with the 170 DS STORES opening to the public,
