APPOINTMENT OF LINDA JACKSON AS CEO OF THE CITROËN BRAND AND YVES BONNEFONT AS CEO OF THE DS BRAND

Linda Jackson has been appointed CEO of the Citroën brand with effect from 1 June 2014. Ms Jackson, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the motor industry in a variety of financial and commercial positions, is currently Managing Director of Citroën in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Also effective 1 June 2014, Yves Bonnefont will become CEO of the DS brand to boost the development of DS as a premium brand in its own right. Mr Bonnefont is currently Director of Strategy for the Group and Deputy CEO of the Citroën brand.

Commenting on the appointments, Frédéric Banzet, CEO of the Citroën brand since June 2009, said: “We currently face two strategic challenges: to continue building and accelerating the success of the DS, and to deploy the new positioning of the Citroën brand worldwide. We will do this by making DS a brand in its own right, under the leadership of Yves Bonnefont, who played a key role in differentiating the brands. The renewal of the Citroën brand will be driven by Linda Jackson, who has already addressed a number of challenges in the automotive industry. So, after five years at the head of Citroën, I am proud to be handing over to Linda Jackson and Yves Bonnefont, who both share the same experience and the passion for all things automotive”.

Frédéric Banzet will be joining the senior management team at FFP.

Linda Jackson (age 55) holds an MBA from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.

She started her career in the automotive industry in 1977 at MG Rover Europe, where she held various positions, in particular Managing Director for France from 2000 to 2003. She joined Citroën in 2005, first as Finance Director of Citroën UK, and then of Citroën France, from 2009 to 2010. She was appointed CEO of Citroën UK and Ireland in July 2010.

Yves Bonnefont (age 43) is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris.

He started his career at PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1994 at the Rennes production plant before moving to the technical centre at Vélizy. After four years with Arthur Andersen, where he led the automotive practice in France, he joined McKinsey in 2001 and was made partner in 2006. During his 11 years at McKinsey, Yves Bonnefont worked mainly with customers in the automotive and high tech sectors. In 2012 he was appointed Director of Strategy at PSA Peugeot Citroën, where he played a key role in positioning the brands. He became Deputy CEO of the Citroën brand in April 2013.
