Dodge features at MiMo 2023: the iconic models on the track and on display at the Monza event

Dodge is taking part in MiMo 2023, as the biggest star in the event. The 2023 Milano Monza Open-Air Motor Show, one of the largest Italian events dedicated to the motor industry, is scheduled from Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18, at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.

The ideal stage for three days that will be showcasing some of the latest and most exciting developments in the automotive industry, bringing all the news from the paddock to the and garage, as well as offering the option to go on a test drive on the venue’s High-Speed Ring. It is an iconic circuit, a veritable place of worship for motorsport fans, which has hosted the Formula 1 championship since the dawn of the competition in 1950.

The legendary American brand sets alight the enthusiasm of the spectators by bringing a world premiere to MiMo, to emphasize the brand’s distinctive power and grit: the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will indeed be unleashing all its horsepower in a show on the track consisting of burnout and a head start on the quarter mile.

Before audiences from all over the world, the third edition of the event boasts over 50 exhibitors from the most renowned automotive and motorcycle brands worldwide, joined by partners and clubs. In this triumph of adrenaline, Dodge also boasts a dedicated stand throughout the show, with three distinctive vehicles on display as the brand’s true icons and in limited editions: a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak, aDodge Challenger R/T, and a Dodge Durango R/T Plus HEMI® Orange.

The Dodge schedule for opening day

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcar will truly be taking a leading role in the event. On the opening day of the 2023 show – Friday, June 16 – the iconic car will be proving its qualities by providing the public with an unforgettable show. The “muscle car” will be unleashed on the Monza circuit, offering spectators a show they will never have seen there before, consisting of burnout and a head start on the quarter mile, an ultra-powerful start to emphasize the vehicle’s power and speed. A unique opportunity to see one of the most famous American “muscle cars” in the world in action, showing off all the power and speed delivered by the Supercharged 717-hp HEMI® V8 engine. It is therefore a unique moment for enthusiasts, who can not only view the vehicles of their dreams up close and personal, but can also experience them in a dynamic version like never before.

Three iconic models are on show to the public on the stand. Dodge comes to the show with a perfect balance of tradition and exclusivity, underlining the brand's gritty spirit and the importance of performance provided by its flagship models: “muscle cars” built to achieve maximum performance, through an impressive combination of power, technology, capacity and efficiency.

The spotlight is on the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak R/T, a model of rare power that offers enthusiasts unlimited options for customization. The introduction of the Jailbreak pack to this model has “broken every rule” and exceeded all the limits in terms of customization. The flamboyant car boasts a Supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 717 hp.

With the Dodge Challenger R/T, the American brand aims to bring a taste of history to the general public at Monza: available in 14 color variants for the exterior, one of the most iconic “muscle cars” of all time is powered by an 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with an output of 375 hp.

The Dodge Durango R/T Plus HEMI® Orange was another new model launched by the brand in 2022, the aim of which was to expand the availability of the popular HEMI Orange trim. The model includes characteristic orange stripes on the bonnet, repeating the refined stitching in the interior, Midnight Grey and orange badges, and Satin Black taillights. Powered by the 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with an output of 360 hp, the vehicle perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Dodge.

Conversely, the three RAM vehicles are all in the Crew Cab version, which stands out for the considerable size of their cabins.
