AMSTERDAM,  10 APRIL, 2026 – SUSTAINera is advancing its global operations and will soon announce the launch of its third Vehicle Dismantling Center in a new region.

This move supports the strategy to internalize critical competencies and enhance control over materials across the End-of-Life Vehicle management value chain, following the launches of the Dismantling Centers in Turin, Italy (in 2024) and in São Paulo, Brazil (in August 2025).

Strategic role of Dismantling Centers
The new facility will further accelerate Stellantis’ Circular Economy ambitions by expanding its network of fully owned and operated dismantling capabilities, processing End-of-Life Vehicles to recover fully functional components for reuse as original spare parts. Components that cannot be reused are directed to recycling streams, enabling closed loop opportunities that return valuable materials into the production of new components and vehicles.

A concrete example is the aluminum closed loop already implemented through the Dismantling Center in Italy: the recovered post-consumer engines are supplied to SOREMO, a pioneer partner in ELV engine recycling, which transforms them into aluminum ingots used in the manufacturing of new engines.

By co-developing an efficient materials ecosystem with a broad network of stakeholders, SUSTAINera is driving forward a sustainable transformation of the automotive value chain, reinforcing Stellantis’ commitment to resource efficiency across the entire lifecycle of its products and reducing reliance on virgin materials.

Important results on End-of-Life Vehicle management
Operations carried out through SUSTAINera’s Valorauto joint venture once again exceeded European standards in 2025, with vehicle recycling and recovery rates reaching 89.9% and 97.7%, respectively.

In the field of End-of-Life High-Voltage Batteries, repurposing units outside the automotive sector plays a key role in the SUSTAINera strategy, accelerating innovation in second-life battery applications. A concrete example is the contribution to the PIONEER energy storage system at Rome Fiumicino Airport. In 2025, the volume of energy from EV batteries sold to third parties for second-life use grew more than fourfold, reaching 123,000 kWh.

SUSTAINera Reuse offer in aftersales
The strategic expansion in Vehicle Dismantling activities aligns as well with the growth of the global automotive spare parts aftermarket across all regions, driven primarily by ageing vehicle parc, increased maintenance needs due to longer vehicle lifespans and the consequent rise in demand for cost-effective repair solutions. Together, these trends create favorable conditions for original used parts, supporting consumers who seek authentic manufacturer components at a more accessible price point.

SUSTAINera’s Reuse offering — supplied by Stellantis owned Vehicle Dismantling Centers and complemented by a network of certified dismantlers — provides a broad selection of original used parts for a practical, sustainable, and affordable alternative in the aftersales. These components can be up to 70% more affordable than new parts, while still ensuring reliability, quality, and full traceability”, said Laurence Hansen, SVP Global Circular Economy.

In 2025, the SUSTAINera Reuse business recorded a remarkable 51% growth compared to the previous year, fueled by:

1) Strong performance on the B-Parts ecommerce platform across Europe – including a successful launch in the UK market - and the first full year of sales in North America, which confirmed a positive trend. The total B-Parts inventory in these two Regions has been significantly strengthened, now exceeding 15 million used parts for all makes and models, thereby enhancing fast and easy availability for all end customers and repairers. Network access to the full stock via Service Box and E-PER catalogues, for Distrigo in Europe and Dealer Connect in North America, also contributed to the growth in sales.

2) Sales of used parts from the Brazilian Dismantling Center via physical store and digital channels including the Circular AutoPeças store on Mercado Livre e-commerce and a forthcoming proprietary platform.

Stellantis SUSTAINera Used Parts ecommerce stores on eBay have also been recently launched to offer used parts recovered at the Italian Dismantling Center across Europe. These stores complement B-Parts' online sales and support the rapidly growing shift toward online aftermarket shopping.

Furthermore, in China, a new Reused parts web platform has also been launched through the Oruide joint venture, recovering parts from its ELVs disassembly operations.

Driving progress across the 4R Strategy: Key Milestones
Beyond Reuse, SUSTAINera continues to advance Stellantis’ Circular Economy through significant progress across all the other pillars of the 4R strategy, with a product portfolio covering 27,4% of Stellantis Parts & Services’ total aftersales offering, thanks to new products launches and business expansion:

Remanufacturing

  • Expanded a pioneering product portfolio with first-in-market remanufactured parts in Europe, including LED headlamps, multimedia displays, DPF tanks, and new multi-brand calipers.
  • Enlarged offer in North America with remanufactured amplifiers, engines, and transmissions.
  • More than 28.600 engines remanufactured at the SUSTAINera Circular Economy Hub in Italy, nearly triple the 2024 volume.

Repair

  • Business grew 48% compared to the previous year, supported by expanded activities in North America and the rollout of the Car Reconditioning project in South America.
  • High-voltage battery service network, expanded to 30 E-Repair Centers globally.
  • Additional growth was driven by the CE Hub partnerships with Ayvens and Leasys for vehicle reconditioning.

Recycle

  • Launched 12V recycled batteries, expanding the recycled product range beyond lubricants, windscreen fluids, and cooling fluids—delivering original-equivalent quality while reducing waste.

These achievements confirm that SUSTAINera is rapidly advancing Stellantis’ commitment to the Circular Economy, while strengthening responsible business performance.
