HAMBURG, Germany, April 13, 2026 Geven, in collaboration with Stellantis Design Studio, will unveil a new electrified Forma Business Class Recliner seat (eForma), a refined evolution of its existing Forma seat platform designed to offer an enhanced, comfortable, intuitive, and visually coherent passenger experience. Debuting at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026, the new eForma Business Class seat brings together Italian design, practical innovation, and advanced cabin integration. The result is a seat that enhances what already worked well, introducing meaningful improvements while maintaining a clear and consistent identity.

“With eForma, we continue to refine our vision of the Business Class experience,” said Alberto Veneruso, Managing Director at Geven. “This evolution combines engineering expertise, Italian design, and intuitive passenger comfort. Working with Stellantis Design Studio allowed us to evolve an already strong and well-conceived product, integrating technology upgrades while preserving the elegance and refinement that define Geven.”

Stellantis Design Studio Elevating the Geven Narrative Through Clarity and Brand Coherence

Stellantis Design Studio strengthens the design language of Geven’s new eForma, bringing greater clarity and consistency to its overall identity. Unified surfaces, volumes, and interfaces reflect Geven’s Italian elegance, creating a calm, balanced presence and a more coherent silhouette from every angle. The result is improved visual continuity across all components, with design choices deliberately focused on long‑term value rather than unnecessary complexity.

“Creating harmony and an instinctive premium feel was a key priority,” said Hermann Hoffmann, Head of Technical Design — Business Class Division, Geven. “The result reinforces eForma’s identity while integrating meaningful improvements, remaining true to our design philosophy.”

Confident Simplicity – A Sophisticated, Calming, and Intuitively Organized Experience

The new eForma has been refined through deliberate simplification.

“The original Forma provided a strong foundation,” said Hugo Nightingale, Global Creative Director, Stellantis Design Studio. “Our role was to translate its evolution into a clear, elevated design expression. Clarity and seamless integration guided every decision. The result is a confident, modern seat where each element feels naturally placed.”

Instead of reinventing, we refined. Instead of adding, we simplified.

Lines have been clarified, and components aligned horizontally, to create a quieter, more composed cabin experience that visually widens the space and creates a clear, orderly architecture—one that feels welcoming and modern.

The aim was not to transform the product into something radically new, but rather to enhance what was already strong—making the seat visually calm, intuitively structured, and comfortable at first glance.

The CMF palette has been refined to express a distinct Italian aesthetic, combining premium materials, subtle texture contrasts, and a warm, modern lighting strategy that elevates the onboard ambiance.

Automotive‑Level Attention to Detail
Precision, Perceived quality and thoughtful practicality

Drawing on Stellantis Design Studio’s automotive heritage, the new eForma prioritizes precision and durability through carefully controlled details.

Each enhancement is thoughtfully designed around the user experience while preserving visual purity, ensuring the seat remains both highly functional and elegantly understated. Hidden or minimized shutlines create a cleaner, more refined interaction between body panels and adjacent surfaces, while fewer visual breaks and consistently tight gaps enhance perceived quality throughout.

“This collaboration shows how engineering and design can work together to improve a product that is both clear in intent and elevated in execution,” said Loïc Rigaud, Partnerships & Sales, Stellantis Design Studio. “The new eForma is a calm, modern, and well-considered evolution.”

Functional upgrades are seamlessly integrated, including a sliding privacy panel, a fully embedded large IFE monitor, improved stowage solutions, wireless charging, and an intuitive in‑arm table system—delivering everyday usability without compromising the design’s- quiet sophistication.
