A Stellantis delegation visited Vatican City today, led by Stellantis Chairman John Elkann, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, and Olivier François, CEO of the Fiat Brand.

Pope Francis received the delegation, who presented the purpose and values of Stellantis, its commitment to sustainable mobility, and the New Fiat 500.

The establishment of Stellantis marks the beginning of a new chapter fueled by the merger of two automakers each with a long tradition, iconic brands and great successes, all closely linked to the diversity and talent of their 300,000 employees all over the world, and to the set of shared values that will guide the new undertaking on its journey: integrity and ethics in all sectors of our business and throughout the entire value chain. Put simply, “corporate social responsibility”.

These values can be found in the DNA of the New Fiat 500, produced in Italy at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, a symbol of the change towards a more sustainable, shared, safer and accessible mobility for all. It has at its core respect for the environment and a message to stimulate responsible choices and behaviors, a call to action to create a better and more sustainable future for future generations.
