CITROËN CONNECT: connected services for an easier and more relaxed driving experience

At the 2014 Paris Motor Show, CITROËN is presenting a full range of connected services grouped under the name CITROËN CONNECT. Already operational, these services have their own dedicated area on the stand, where visitors can see them and try them out.

CITROËN CONNECT is a range of connected services based on onboard or smartphone apps. Designed to save time, increase safety, optimise budgets or entertain, to give just a few examples, they make everyday driving an easier and more relaxed experience for customers. Julien Montarnal, CITROËN Director of Marketing, Communication and Sport, said, "The services provided by CITROËN CONNECT are a practical and positive response that makes life easier for our customers. These services are a key component of our brand promise: creativity and technology delivering enhanced well-being. For this reason, we have decided to give them a dedicated area on our stand“.CITROËN is displaying its connected services in a dedicated area of 67.50 m². Five walls show the various connected services available through a single portal: CITROËN CONNECT. Some of them, such as Mirror Screen, can be tested on demonstration units built into the panels. Others, such as Link MyCITROËN, can be downloaded to a smartphone for live testing.This area also has a "Techno Bar“ with four touch tablets giving visitors access to the connected services and the associated films, as well as a wide range of information.A CITROËN C4 Cactus displayed in the centre of this dedicated area also lets you test the LinkMyCITROËN and CITROËN Multicity Connect services.As a reminder, CITROËN CONNECT comprisesMyCITROËN: a free personal online page for easy vehicle management.CITROËN Multicity Connect: a portal of onboard applications available on the C4 Picasso and C4 CACTUS.Mirror Screen: on the new C1, lets users control a smartphone (Android or iOS), from the vehicle touch drive interface.Link MyCITROËN: a free smartphone app linked to the car (eco-driving tips, locating your vehicle, etc.), available on the C4 Picasso and C4 Cactus.Scan MyCITROËN: a free app that lets users scan an item of onboard equipment with a smartphone to automatically access the user’s manual, available on the C4 Picasso and soon the C4 Cactus.CITROËN Connect Box: emergency and localised assistance call functions, already available on more than 300,000 CITROËN vehicles.
