Poissy, September 10, 2026 – For over 100 years, Citroën has been a partner to professionals, helping them satisfy their customers and grow their businesses. The brand is once again demonstrating this commitment by participating in IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, the leading international trade show dedicated to commercial vehicles, transportation, and logistics. From September 15 to 20 in Hanover, the show will bring together the industry’s key players and unveil more than 150 world premieres and new products.

At the heart of the Citroën booth located in Hall 13, Booth C41, the Berlingo Van First will be unveiled to the public for the first time as a world premiere. This new version rounds out the lineup of Citroën’s best-selling commercial vehicle with a more accessible, smart, and functional offering, designed with the real-world needs of professionals in mind. The brand will also showcase a Jumper L3 Double Cab equipped with a 3-sided tipper body, demonstrating its ability to provide solutions tailored to the specific needs of various trades.

OVER 100 YEARS OF PARTNERING WITH PROFESSIONALS

For over a century, Citroën has supported professionals with a single goal: to make their mobility simpler, more efficient, and more accessible. The brand has built up extensive expertise in commercial vehicles by combining creativity, innovation, and practicality. Starting with the Type A in 1919, it has continuously evolved commercial vehicles to better meet the needs of professionals. In the late 1930s, the TUB broke new ground with its forward-mounted cab to optimize space, before the Type H, launched in 1947, established itself with its front-wheel drive, low floor, and remarkable versatility.

With the 2CV Fourgonnette, followed by the Acadiane and the C15, Citroën then made compact, rugged vehicles—suitable for a wide range of activities—more accessible to the general public. In 1996, the Berlingo marked a new milestone by reinventing the compact van with a focus on versatility, modularity, and comfort. The Berlingo is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the Berlingo Van First is the worthy successor to the 2 CV Fourgonnette.

Today, Citroën offers a lineup covering all professional needs, from the Ami Cargo Pack to the Jumper. This lineup ranges from 2.41 m to 6.36 m in length and from 0.5 to 17 m³ in volume, and features several powertrain options, from internal combustion to electric. This multi-energy approach is complemented by solutions designed to meet a wide range of uses, featuring modern, comfortable, smart, and accessible vehicles, as well as the support of a dedicated network that is close to its customers.

BERLINGO VAN FIRST: FOCUSING ON THE ESSENTIALS, WITHOUT SACRIFICING UTILITY

With the Berlingo Van First, Citroën takes a new step forward in the evolution of its commercial vehicle lineup. Unveiled as a world premiere in Hanover, this version rounds out the Berlingo Van lineup with a focused approach: offering professionals an efficient, versatile, and affordable vehicle designed around their daily needs.

Its interior features a new dashboard and door panels, with a layout designed to make life on board easier. Versatility is one of its key strengths. As standard, the Flexiseat allows the passenger seat to be folded down to free up up to 0.5 m³ of additional cargo space. As an option, the Modutable transforms this space into a true mobile office, where you can work on a computer or tablet, have a meal, or organize your documents.

The Berlingo Van First also offers, depending on your needs, the Dashbox, Moduconsole, Drivedrawer, or Moduwork, allowing you to return to a three-seat configuration while retaining storage and cargo features suited to professional use.

This design directly addresses real-world conditions: professionals drive alone about 80% of the time. The Berlingo Van First thus prioritizes an optimized layout, where every piece of equipment must serve a practical purpose.

With a cargo volume of 3.3 to 4.4 m³ and a payload of up to 1 m3 ton, the Berlingo Van First retains the fundamentals that made the model a success while offering a particularly affordable price point.

Available with an 136 ch electric powertrain offering up to 270 km of range, as well as HDi 100 and HDi 130 diesel engines and a 110 ch gasoline engine, the Berlingo Van First exemplifies Citroën’s multi-energy strategy. A mild-hybrid version will round out the lineup in 2027.

JUMPER: A TRANSFORMED SOLUTION FOR DEMANDING INDUSTRIES

In Hanover, Citroën is also presenting a version of the Jumper designed to meet the needs of professionals in the construction, public works, and maintenance sectors: the Jumper L3 Double Cab with 3-side tipper body. This configuration combines an expanded seating capacity of up to 7 people with a highly versatile tipper body that allows for unloading from three sides.

Made of aluminum, the bed offers an excellent balance between durability and payload capacity. Weighing approximately 120 kg less than an equivalent steel bed, it provides professionals with greater cargo capacity. Available in double or single cab configurations and with either gasoline or electric powertrains, this solution adapts to a variety of uses and operational requirements.

This version features a fully integrated CustomFit conversion carried out at the factory’s dedicated CustomFit center, in collaboration with JPM, a specialist in commercial vehicle conversions. Performed directly at the factory, it meets Stellantis quality standards and benefits from integrated type approval. For the customer, this approach also simplifies the purchasing process, with a fully equipped vehicle delivered and optimized delivery times.

With this offering, Citroën once again demonstrates its ability to provide solutions directly tailored to the professions and work needs of business users, combining the intrinsic qualities of its vehicles with conversions designed specifically for their line of work.

Join us at the IAA TRANSPORTATION in Hanover from September 15–20, 2026, Hall 13, Booth C41
